And my fingers are sore.
Awww.... don't get down.... you know the mantra... log it, forget it... tomorrow's another day... having said that, I said exactly the same thing about 10 minutes ago when I recorded 6.1 after eating well and running around like a loon for the last 4 hours... Never mind honey, it'll come round again - and look, they're still good numbers...

Oh dear.

Day 4 of lower protein (I avoid weighing and measuring, where possible, so I can't give precise quantities)

But it would appear that I had definitely been boosting BG levels with higher protein.
The last few days have been interesting.

My fasting (pre lunch and dinner) levels have dropped from c. 5.6-5.7 to c. 5.1-5.2.
Even my dawn phenomenon is down a little.
I'm teetering much closer to Liver Dump territory, too. Which is making me crotchety and wobbly.
I'm also hungrier, though I am eating the same volumes.

Considering that my average BG has dropped by less than 1.0mmol/l across the whole day. I consider this grossly unfair, a divine joke, and I want to register a complaint with whoever is responsible.

So I'm going to keep on with the lower protein. Sigh.
And stick strictly to LC (cos otherwise the hunger and lower BG will trigger carb feeding frenzies - been there. Done that. Not going back.)
So the remaining option is to eat more fat. And I really did think I was eating enough of it... Oh well...

Will report how it goes.

B Bacon and scrambled eggs
L Avocado and a bit of cheese
D Steak and cauliflower cheese

I looked for a cauliflower cheese recipe whilst the cauliflower was bubbling away bad plan so I winged it, a good dollop of soft cheese then grated cheddar into it some pepper and a big swirl of mustard...was great! Next time may add some marmite too.
Full now, think I'll have Fage and a few blueberries later whilst watching a film. Rock n roll life

My breakfast this morning was 2 large eggs with some double cream scrambled 3 rashers of bacon 1 slice of Oopsie bread very enjoyable indeed

That IS my cauli cheese recipe

Also worth trying with one of the following (for variety)
Blue cheese,
Diced mattersons sausage
Horseradish
French mustard

Horseradish!!! Yes, I forgot about that...thanks for allowing me to use your recipe

Brunneria, thanks for your thoughts. I have recently dropped my carbs to <20 and decreased my protein. I am hungry all the time.

My FB this morning was high...Real high. 154

I don't know what I am doing wrong. During the day I run 90-118.
