Is Coyo yoghurt? Their website appears to be down, carb free I'm presuming? Flavoured or plain? Sorry for all the questions .. always looking for new foods now!
Hi s.sollis, I suffer every now and again with restless legs, tried all sorts of things and found that a hot water bottle does the trick for me, just a thought for you if you have not tried this.B: cup of tea.
L: boiled eggs, slimline tonic water.
D: 3x Apple and cinnamon ryvitas, raspberries and blueberries with experiment of small amount of cream. Will see how that effects my pancreatitis, I've now found out I have stones in the pancreas but nothing will be done about it.
S: slimline tonic water, seeing if this helps with the terrible restless legs I get at night.
Thank you @amgrundy, I think I might have to invest in some more hot water bottles as I have one currently on my back which I hurt Saturday trying to help my neighbour up after a fall, and swapping it to my tummy for the pancreatic pain. Do you just rest you legs on it?Hi s.sollis, I suffer every now and again with restless legs, tried all sorts of things and found that a hot water bottle does the trick for me, just a thought for you if you have not tried this.
Hi Yes I wrap it in a pillow case and place between my lower legs and then knees it works for me hope you get some ease out of it too.Thank you @amgrundy, I think I might have to invest in some more hot water bottles as I have one currently on my back which I hurt Saturday trying to help my neighbour up after a fall, and swapping it to my tummy for the pancreatic pain. You could look at their menu and look up on line things that you fancy. Obviously avoid rice, naan etc. Maybe a selection of veg side dishes and something like tandoori chicken? Creamy dishes tend to have quite a lot of sugar in and anything tomato based can cause problems if tomatoes cause your BG to spike. Whatever you have, enjoy it!Help, I am having an Indian takeaway tonight (a celebration for another person!) what food choices would cause less damage?
Yes, they do it in plain (natural) or flavoured versions. I haven't tried the flavoured ones, but the plain one is really yummy (if you like coconut). Tesco sell it in 250g pots for £3.50, and I'm sure other supermarkets stock it, too. I could happily eat a whole 250g pot, but then I have very poor self-control! I do generally limit myself to a third of a pot at a time, though. Is Coyo yoghurt? Their website appears to be down, carb free I'm presuming? Flavoured or plain? Did you enjoy the Alaskan wild salmon? I bought some a while ago and thought it tasted very strange and not entirely pleasant! I've gone back to normal, orange, farmed salmon which I adore.Breakfast: Porridge with some walnuts, chia seeds and flax, with some forest fruits
Lunch: Beef Stew
Tea: Alaskan Wild Salmon and Mayonnaise with cavolo nero wilted with sesame oil, garlic, soy, ginger and peanuts and purple-stemmed broccoli. Couple of pieces of Green & Blacks 85% chocolate, large glass of Bushmills single malt.
You're right - it IS expensive. But I'm a true L'Oreal girl and keep telling myself I'm worth it! (And I'm consistently broke as a result.
Yup, coconut yog. Delicious. Sugar free (add sweetener if nec), v low carb. And too expensive for everyday. We buy 2 a week.
Plain, vanilla or choc, I think. They also do ice cream, which I would LOVE to try
Definitely! And a cold one in the summer. xHi s.sollis, I suffer every now and again with restless legs, tried all sorts of things and found that a hot water bottle does the trick for me, just a thought for you if you have not tried this.
I absolutely love it, I've gone the other way, I now compare ordinary farmed salmon against it as a standard, and find farmed very poor in comparison, less flavour, dry texture.Did you enjoy the Alaskan wild salmon? I agree - it can be dry. But I cook it by sort of waving it past a hot pan, which seems to work pretty well and it has more flavour when it's almost raw.I absolutely love it, I've gone the other way, I now compare ordinary farmed salmon against it as a standard, and find farmed very poor in comparison, less flavour, dry texture.
My food's been a bit repetitive recently, but here's yesterday's efforts
B - bacon with mayo
D - steak sarnie made with with cauli tortillas
S - coconut water
