Sunday 25 / 04 /16 BG morning reading 5.3
B 2 slices Hovis seeded bread with best butter [ first time in 4 months had 2 slices of toast]
S A couple of pieces of red water melon / half a can of Zero coke
L Dish of coconut and vanilla greek yogurt / Linseed berry mix / raspberries
D 1 slice of ham / 1 slice of tonge / 3 slices of chicken breast / carrots and turnips mashed in butter delicious [ first time in 4 months had carrots and turnips]
Bg reading 2 hrs after dinner 4.4 so had 2 cheese and rivitas at 9pm BG reading this morning 5.3 happy with this

Not loads. A little bit of turmeric and cinnamon and coriander amounts are greater than the turmeric. Probably all totals about 1/2 to a teaspoon tops. The turmeric is there because it is referred to as the king of spices. The coriander is there because it is an old Indian method of inducing sleepiness/relaxation. The cinnamon was introduced at a later stage because it is supposed to help blood sugar control. The cinnamon and coriander actually taste nice in it (which surprised me). The turmeric does not make it taste nice and hence it is there in lower quantities.
Yeah I was thinking it might taste like curried milk, I will give it a go though. I love chi tea. :)

B: Coyo & raspberries
L: Gluten-free crackers & lacto-free cheese
D (will be): Roasted salmon, mixed salad, gluten-free garlic bread; coyo & frozen black cherries
S: Ham, chicken, Chocologic sugar-free dark chocolate
Carbs: 54g :(
Having a 'meh' day today; feeling grumpy, emotional and craving carbs - specifically chunks of some lovely, seeded wholemeal bread with thick butter. Fortunately I don't have any in the house and I'm not going out to get any, so I'm hoping the garlic bread with dinner tonight will help the cravings.....
Cut the sole of my foot this morning, too; it took AGES to stop bleeding and now it's sore, so feeling sorry for myself. (Tsk! Dopey old bat)
:(

B: smoked salmon, boiled egg, watercress with tbsp of milled chia seeds
L: tuna salad
D: mackerel fillet and cauliflower risotto

4 cups of green tea, plenty of water, selection of supplements

B: coffeencream
S: miso soup
L: mozarella blob, beef tomato, olives (garlic and rosemary) followed by a plain coyo. Can't believe I ever wanted to sweeten coyos.
D: will be pulled pork, caulicheese and some greenery. Delivery today, so am about to go mining in the fridge. No pud, but those Godivas are calling...

It has been a hungry day today. Maybe the cold wind? Maybe just greed. Whatever. Dinner will be much appreciated!!!

Oh, I can SOOOO relate to this! LOL
And do you find that the thing you really want is right at the back, so everything else falls out all over the floor, and you end up thinking, "Soddit. I'll just have some cheese......" ?
Or is that just me?
:joyful:

B: 2 rashers bacon, poached egg and a slice of burden toast
L: boring old salad with a large avocado and some olives. Another slice of bread
snack: a few nuts, gala apple and a mini cheese
D: lots of roast chicken, a very small baked potato and some stir fry veg; full fat greek you and a few more nuts.

I consider myself fortunate to be able to tolerate some bread / potatoes because I get awful IBS from many veg and take another med that makes me hungry all the time.

B: cup of tea.
L: boiled eggs, slimline tonic water.
D: 3x Apple and cinnamon ryvitas, raspberries and blueberries with experiment of small amount of cream. Will see how that effects my pancreatitis, I've now found out I have stones in the pancreas but nothing will be done about it.
S: slimline tonic water, seeing if this helps with the terrible restless legs I get at night.

Today I have been mainly eating....

B: Chipolata (3) Sandwich on LivLife bread with grain mustard and brown sauce (wierd, but actually quite nice)
L: Some leftover roast turkey breast, bit of cheese, pickled onions.
D: Chicken Breast wrapped in streaky bacon stuffed with goats cheese, cooked on courgettes and tomatoes. Green Vegetables.

Might have a Pudd later...

Good day ... :)

B: smoked salmon, poached eggs, cherry toms and Greek yoghurt
S: avocado
L: chicken, asparagus, broccoli
D: tomato soup
S: cheese, sugar free raspberry mousse

My BG has been in the 5s since after breakfast, sure feels good to be back on the LCHF wagon

Is Coyo yoghurt? Their website appears to be down, carb free I'm presuming? Flavoured or plain? Sorry for all the questions .. always looking for new foods now!

B: 1/2 Lidl roll, homemade lemon curd
L: chicken, stilton, rocket, coleslaw
D: bit of a Masterchef invention challenge, ie what do I have in the cupboards that I can throw together. Sausages (cut up into pieces) and mushrooms in a cream and mustard sauce with buttered kale. Was v tasty!:smug: Resisted the temptation of another raspberry & chocolate soufflé.

Yes it's a brand of yoghurt. Not cheap! They do make different flavours but I would imagine that anything other than plain might be fairly high in carbs. Another case of standing in the supermarket isle reading the labels on everything

Breakfast: Porridge with some walnuts, chia seeds and flax, with some forest fruits
Lunch: Beef Stew
Tea: Alaskan Wild Salmon and Mayonnaise with cavolo nero wilted with sesame oil, garlic, soy, ginger and peanuts and purple-stemmed broccoli. Couple of pieces of Green & Blacks 85% chocolate, large glass of Bushmills single malt.
