Thankfully I always have sugary sweets in the house due to the ever active grandsons. No, it's happened to me before but never when I've been low carbing. I am getting very stressed over work and - unbelievably - the new dog, but I'm surprised I had a hypo.

Yummy menuBreakfast - 2 boiled eggs
Lunch - homemade soup with grated cheese, homemade lemon cheesecake pudding (to make 6 portions it was half a pint of double cream, half a large tub of Philly, 2 x individual serving-sized jars homemade yog, 1.5 lemons, 3dsp Splenda, a lot of whisking, a few rasps - I was entertaining a client so pushed the boat out)
Tea - sausages, cauli-celeriac cheese, creamy leeks, a few carrots, a snifter of Mr S's gravy, homemade yog with sugar-free jelly and Splenda
Snacks - hardboiled eggs, pate
I LOVE my lower-carb life! 60g-ish CHO, utterly stuffed!
When I make them I put the banana and eggs in the blender and give them a good whizz so there's no scrambled eggy lumps I it.They tasted okay but the consistancy was wrong and some ended up more like scrambled egg
Fathead crackers? I've just learned Fathead Pizza but not heard of the crackers?Hello
B. Red berries with yoghurt
L. Camambert and walnuts
D. Bolognaise with courgetti. 4 strawberries with yoghurt.
3 or 4 fathead crackers. Yum
I used an electric whisk. When I make them I put the banana and eggs in the blender and give them a good whizz so there's no scrambled eggy lumps I it.
How do you feel today #Chook? I had a full day of 'green' meter readings which was most pleasing. Went to bed on a 5.6 and got up to a 6.6.
B. 3 cherry tomatoes, 2 chestnut mushrooms, 2 rashers crispy streaky bacon, 2 Heck Chicken Sausages, 50g Simon Howie wee black pudding and 1 fried egg that turned out to be a double yolker. It was yummy. Black Tea.
L. Will be Nothing as this is the annual Sunday Burns night dinner.
D. Smoked salmon and prawns with Marie rose sauce and probably salad. Haggis, Neeps but nae tatties. Instead I will have cauliflower mash. Will need to carefully measure the haggis as I need to be the carbs down. Cranachan - dessert of whipped cream, raspberries, whisky , toasted oats and honey. I always toast the oatmeal with Agave rather than use honey which gives you a kind of oats brittle when it cools. A quick pulse in a processor and we have the crunchy mix. I add before serving as it keeps the crunch then and I can limit how much goes in mine.
A prosecco and a Campari with soda.
A QUESTION - for all North Yorkshire residents. I'm organising our annual get together with my ex workmates and their wives/husbands in October. Favoured place is Harrogate. When I was in Harrogate for work I always stayed at the Balmoral but sadly it is no more. Currently looking at Majestic, Cedar Court and The Yorkshire. With my disabilities there needs to be a lift and a walk in shower as I can't handle a bath. They are all suitable for me and seem fairly central. Any opinions on what these hotels are like please.
Could you have a bug working on you? I find my sugars rise before I feel unwell.I'm a lot better than yesterday but still headachey. I went to bed at 4.3 last night and woke up to as FBG of 7.3 this morning which has now risen to 8. Im testing every hour today because it doesn't seem right for me.
I've lived in Yorkshire for 18 years and only ever been to Harrogate twice both times to visit RHS Harlow Carr and leisurely stop off for a lovely cuppa and cake at Bettys.
I struggle with stairs and baths too due to arthritis.
