What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

You have been lucky! I've had some that might have benefited from a major wash cycle never mind rinsing. Kind of puts you off when they stink

B = bacon egg mushroom (my taste buds are changing as I though the mushrooms tasted sweet) @ 6.30am

L= 1/2 avocado @ 2.45 pm (wasn't particularly hungry )

D = 5 Lidl frikadella +1/2 courgette as courgetti with some double cream and garlic and herb Philly

Cheese and sliced black olives and Nando's "Bloody Hot Peri Peri" sauce omelette for breakfast this morning.

It will be pot luck for lunch, and pork chops and veggies for dinner tonight.

You know, we are Nandoless around here.
I am getting curiouser and curiouser though.

Well made it down to 5.2 today even although I still have a sore throat. This is the weirdest bug ever. Each time you think it's gone something else emerges. Tops of my arms were aching today too.
B. Ah what would I do without 2 scrambled eggs with parsley and a dash of cream and 2 rashers crispy streaky bacon. Couple of mini portobello mushrooms.
L. Nothing was at Aqua Fit
D. Chicken with ham and cheese and M&S santini salad with egg and bacon. Helmanns mayonnaise. Sugar free jelly , 6 raspberries and 2 teaspoons extra thick cream.

I know Tesco and ASDA do Nandos sauces or are you talking about their restaurants? If so they still have these flaming hot sauces but as a restaurant it is easy to low carb.

I was told Nandos is for people who like KFS but can use a knife and fork

Any excuse for a meal out

That'll be me then. One of those things you know you shouldn't, but you like it anyway...
Mind you, the dietdoc chicken in bread rumbs recipe is a great substitute, and wheat free.

Brunneria, I saw someone mentioning these on a different forum. Have you tied them?

Haven't they got the marinades and sauces in your local supermarkets? I haven't been for ages probably because we weren't impressed. Basically it was roast chicken and salad and a choice of all the Nando sauces.

I will have a look. I didn't even know (until yesterday) that the sauces were for sale. So I didn't know I could look.

Woops - sorry - doing this on my phone and didn't see the previous replies...
