Even my family prefers to ordinary pizza it’s so tasty must make one soon not had in a while! It was absolutely delicious, not sure I entirely remember what regular pizza tastes like now, not eaten one since October last year, but this was so nice, I will definitely make it again.
Made the pizza, huge success and I enjoyed every mouthfulHi @Stronggirlsclub and welcome.
The recipe I use is this one - I just make the crust and replace their suggested topping with my own one:

Really easy to make.
I’m definately going to try this. It’s sounds delicious!Made the pizza, huge success and I enjoyed every mouthful
This is probably not what you want to hear but most of us go up and down and particularly in the early days. However slowly but surely you will notice your overall averages come down persistently if you stick with it and your hbaca1 which is the important average will see a big impact from your new way of eating and fasting. You will get there it’s just early days ....
I am going to try out the pizza recipe for tea, wish me luck
Sounds like you’ve started on an advanced class! You need lots of help and tuition to learn the basics I do one where we are all a similar age and it’s paced for us it still works though!Well @shelley262 I’m now full of admiration for anyone that can actually do pilates. Apart from the fact that everyone was about half my age, I couldn’t get my head around how to contort my body into many of the positions, let alone do it!
I knew I had balance and flexibility issues but spent half the time falling over!!
And you’re right about the hunger. Have just eaten a 25g pack of almonds and am now on a square of Willie’s Pure Gold 100% chocolate. Feels like I’ve eaten a lot today, but still under 20g carbs.

Not so much age as a beginners class ......I just joined a random class at my gym. Might have to look for an age appropriate one.
Actually it’s exactly what I want to hear! You’ve done so well and it’s encouraging to know we are going in the right direction, if it takes a while that’s ok so long as we know we’re doing the right things.
Encouragement and personal experience and tips from people who have changed their lifestyle and achieved such great results are the reason I love this forum, and it’s what keeps me motivated.
Sounds a bit gushing, I haven’t even had the wine yet!
I was a little dissapointed with my SMBG readings though. After a 24hr fast my reading was 9.1mmol. I guess my liver is kicking out a lot of glucose?
Oh my goodness....that looks divine!
Is the base easy enough to make?
You’re doing great. It’s early days and your readings will gradually come down. It does take time.
I did it was nothing like I expected, it was tasty, it’s so easy to make too. Also didn’t make much difference to my BG, before eating 5.9 then 6.3 for the 2 hr after eating test.Hope you enjoyed it.
Late from yesterday so 2 in one!
B. Bacon and eggs
L. not hungry
D. Pan fried tuna in butter with creamed spinach
today :
B. Cheese omelette, cooked in bacon fat
L. bits of low carb tapas from M&S
T. Roast chicken and the rest of the creamed spinach
I see tat lots of us have an M&S Food Hall nearby....my latest 'find' is their newish tapasy stule offerings....loads that are low carb so terrific choices for us....love the manchego cheese rollitos.....too many to list but look out for them they are great options for us when out and about!
Hi, I made my first pizza tonight, it is really easy to make and quick, I added chicken, onion, tomato and chorizo to mine, it was really nice.Oh my goodness....that looks divine!
