Have you ever tried acupuncture for your periods? I used to have excrutiating periods my whole life but after two sessions I've been pain free. It's amazing!

Thanks Deb, I'll have to do some research on this - I have serious money problems at the moment as well. Anything that can help me relax and forget everything is definitely worthwhile.

Look into Chinese food cures too - certain foods result in stress for body which can cause period pains.

Honestly, I originally had Acu to help with infertility and was so skeptical at first but it was the best thing ever. And it did get me preggers too!

Food today is the same as yesterday except for blueberries. But that's boring news!

Just back from the vet. She says my kitty boy has put on half a kilo :joyful: in the last 3 weeks thanks to his steroids and him feasting like a king. She says, although not measurable, his intestines feel softer. She gave him another shot of vitamin B12 and said to come back in 4 weeks  I keep thinking he will keel over any day, but the vet seems very pleased with him.

Off to make a plate of nibbles for the footie. Good luck if your team's playing! :D

Well better day than yesterday although thats not difficult! Breakfast allbran with ss milk, 2 slices bergen toast - starving today! Lunch -veg soup, 2 slices bread (bad I know but hungry). Dinner/footie snacks: too hot to cook much so having a wee snack plate of dry-fried halloumi, quorn spam slices, olives, peanuts.

Cocktail: bourbon and diet, caffeine free coke.

Brunch: a few cashews and water to choke down my met. Was weirdly not hungry. There's a first time for everything!

Dinner: chickpea stew with chopped up Cauldron sausages, cauli "couscous" and minty yogurt. Rioja.

I was chatting to @lunarlinda earlier about the Food Network channel and I remembered this chickpea stew from Bitchin' Kitchen so gave it a try. It is very tasty and the roasted garlic is amazing.

Brekkie: green smoothie followed by coffee with cream

Lunch: egg on Livlife bread

Supper: 3 sausages from our local butcher, with mange touts and mashed haricot beans, topped with a dab of cream cheese.

I may have 4 prunes with double cream, later

Goodness, I feel so much better now I'm having green smoothies again. Not that I felt ill, or even below parr, but now I feel better.

I have not had any insulin today, I am eating the healthiest / best for controlling my BG in the past 8+ years of being T2, and exercising more, this may be wrong, but as I only have a relatively small dose I'm seeing if I can maintain these levels minus medication, will see in a few days / week
