Diagnosed prediabetic Easter 2014. Just left to get on with it, no guidance or help from GP. Every day I'm learning something new.

Thankfully, Mr B ate the last of the vile stinking cheesecake this evening.
There are still 4 pod segment things, hermetically sealed in the fridge, but the dustmen come tomorrow, so it may 'disappear' ;)

Very sad.

And I still love the crisps.

Breakfast bacon, mushroom , tomato
Lunch crustless quiche with red onion ( I use slices of ham as a pastry base), salad
Supper- tonight I am running a cafe as junior back from uni and needed to use freezer stuff up so he's having scampi, peas and oven chips. Mr E is having shepherds' pie and peas and I'm having halloumi mushrooms, asparagus and more salad. Then I will grab some strawbs, rhubarb and yogurt and hide upstairs while they have a mini magnum each.

Poor ethyl - sounds like my house!

Scram egg, bacon, coffee

Salami and Brie with salad. Ice pop.

Ham and cream cheese roll ups

Lamb chops, mashed broccoli and spring onion/ garlic cream sauce. Yum!

Been very hungry today. Think probably more due to thirst but still thinking about food today more than I'd like!

Stop right there m'lass." mashed broccoli and spring onion/ garlic cream sauce"? I want that. Recipe please.

Steam the broc, blend it with stick blender.

In saucepan, melt more butter, add chopped spring onions and garlic. Stir til cooked then add single cream and stir. Pour over said mashed broc.

It's nice on fish too.

sounds great. Shame to waste it by poring it over fish.

Breakfast: cheesy omelette

Lunch: Greek yogurt, raspberries, cinnamon. Fennel tea.

Dinner: 2 quorn fillets, kidney bean and veg ratatouille, cheese.

Probably have some chocolate later.

Groundhog Day here today. The only thing I did differently today was to add some jalapeños and Cajun seasoning to the ratty stew to change it a bit.
