It's broad bean season, so I picked some fresh from the garden, cooked them, tossed them in bacon and had them over my salad (lettuce & baby spinach also fresh from garden).
Had pork escalope with this. All very delish!

Am being nice to self this week to keep me on low carb track after bad fall from grace last week, so had lovely prawns for lunch, with cucumber and with celery with pate spread on it.

Scrambled eggs and mushrooms for brekkie.

That's what I tell him. Along with the bamboo steamer and Habitat earthenware Tagine.
I think mine is like that. Nothing that requires assembling or is fiddly to clean.

@cold ethyl Just don't go and drop it now....:D

I've got a few elderly kitchen gadgets too from when I was first married, a couple of which are still in use, mainly a little (tinplate??) Mouli grater which my gadget loving auntie bought for me 40 odd years ago.

Robbity

My fave lunch!

Brie wrapped in salami and melted slightly with salad and my own dressing. Can't believe this is a diet!

Jelly and cream and linseed
Steamed salmon, spinach with salad drowning in garlic dressing.

Pineapple? Mmmm. I loved that. Haven't tried it since diagnosis. Another thing to add to the one day. There's so many things I want to see if I can tolerate that I'll probably OD on carbs .

No pineapples were harmed in the making of this cheesecake :angelic:

It was made with pineapple jelly crystals. Real fake, low carb stuff.
