150g pot of natural full fat yogurt with 2 big strawberries cut up

Poached egg on toast - 1 slice granary toast and butter
1 small red plum

Afternoon had my 3 month HbA1c blood test. Results on Thursday.

Celebrated with a take-a-way chip shop haddock and peas, 1 slice granary and butter
200ml glass red wine.

Lots of cups of tea and lots of tap water.

Might sound carb laden, but honestly, the whole day was about 100g. Glycemic load for the day very low.
God, it sounds divine! Bad to the core!

OOps. I'm posting on here 'cos I said I'd let Scandi know about the bungalow. Yes, I'm having to so I can get down to healthy eating when I get moved. As far as food eaten today's concerned :bigtears: 4 pieces of ham and an individual portion of cheese then, in Bradford, Fish and chips!!!!:***: I know, I know, but I haven't had anything else, I'm still full, and on my breakfast, I felt light headed and spacey, so low carb dosen't suit me.

Yesterday was:

Breakfast 2 slices of Livlife bread with marmite and full fat cream cheese. OMG I think I am in love.

Broccoli and Stilton soup, homemade

Chipotle pulled pork from tescos, without the sauce added. Very nice. We must get more before the offer runs out. Green beans and leeks.

We ate very early (mr B does shifts) so I was peckish at 10pm, so I had a drink of Almased with cinnamon.

Well for lunch I have just had a bacon sarnie. Not like any bacon sarnie I have ever had before though. This is the first "bread" type low carb loaf thingie that I have made and though a bit "cakey" was rather nice!!! Held together better than I expected as well

Greek yoghurt, blueberries and cinnamon
Almonds, coconut and coffee
Celery and Stilton soup, carrot, watercress, spring onion and sesame stir fry, cool French bean and vinaigrette salad
2 Carrs melts AND butter!
Jelly (Hartleys sugar-free (I hope!)) and double cream
Square of 85% chocolate
Cup of tea

Too indulgent
Dig the veg plot, plant shallots

1 homemade sausage (stepdad - sausage and stepdad awesome) and 1 poached egg with mushrooms.
Scrambled egg and smoked salmon.
2 pieces of cheese.
Dinner to be decided!

Breakfast: Yoghurt and walnuts
Lunch: Scrambled eggs, spinach and cheddar
Snack: Mug of bulletproof coffee
Dinner: TBD, maybe fish

bulletproof.JPG

I like to treat myself on a Saturday night. Tonight I had...

Courgette "spaghetti" with pesto, sun dried tomatoes and grilled halloumi. Recipe here

Lime and chocolate cheesecake. Recipe stolen from here I swapped the vanilla and strawberry for lime juice and zest then topped with more lime zest and grated 85% chocolate. Divine!

Your food sounds fab in this forum! Wish I could eat more with better results.

Yesterday I ate:
2 rivita with jam
Cup coffee sk milk

Chicken and veg fajita
Chocolate twist
Cup herbal tea
Feta, tomato and avocado green salad. Glass water

My BG only 9 this morning.
Day before also included cake and it was only 6.5 in morning.

Sigh. Finding myself becoming too obsessed with what I eat and diab monitoring. Life's become intolerable again.

Had a great dinner today. Had cheese burgers with butternut squash chips. I replaced the burger bun with a romaine lettuce leaf. It was delicious! Later in the week, i'm going to have fajitas, replacing the flatbread with lettuce leaves...can't wait!

Tonight we had pickled herring, butter, cheese and crisp bread (small piece of bread for me) for starter, with a snaps and a small glass of beer.
Then roast lamb, broccoli with lemon, garlic and olive oil, melanzane alla parmigiana (and potatoes for hubby) and a glass of wine (for me).
Afters were a low carb chocolate pudding with whipped cream.

No wonder I can do without food in the morning, eh?

Chocolate pudding: melt 100 grams of butter, add 100 grams of 85% chocolate and let it melt. Add 1 dl of cream. Whip two eggs with sweetener equivalent to 3 tbsp of sugar, add some vanilla extract, mix with the butter/chocolate, pour into a dish. Bake at 200 C for 6 min. Let it cool and serve with whipped cream.
