B: Wholegrain oats in magic porridge as usual, with berries
L: Ah, well, I went out to lunch for the first time since I started full-on LCHF and stumbled at the first hurdle! I went for the salads and avoided the ones served with chips, but then realised that the fried brie was breadcrumbed and the cranberries were in a sauce. Anyway I ate the cheese, but Mrs DeeJay polished off the cranberry-flavoured sugar jelly.
T: cold chicken, ham & salami salad with home-made coleslaw (no carrot), lettuce & red pepper.
Which was a wise precaution since when we went next door for a fireworks party we were offered hot dogs, crisps & dips. To drink, being teetotal anyway I just had my usual coffee.

I'm sorry.
Take care of yourself.
My BG is always very volatile after lack of sleep and emotional upset, so you may find the same.

I haven't posted on this thread for a while. My meals are a bit odd these days. I blame my sudden poverty (had to replace my car) meaning I often eat the same old stuff for days on end. Plus the winter clocks - I am trying to photo my food for a blog, but as it is dark here very early, I have to cook and photo in the mornings. This explains why I had courgette spaghetti for breakfast this morning :p I don't want the newbies to think this is normal behaviour! I'm still lurking though x

Just realised why I've felt so meh this weekend!

Not enough FAT!

Been having a comparably low fat weekend - by accident, really.

Off to the fridge to rectify the situation immediately.
