What is your New Year’s Resolution?

Mine are: having lost 31.3kg since diagnosis to lose the remaining 18.7 kg to get my BMI into the healthy range. Secondly to maintain my HbA1c in the ‘non diabetic’ range.
Happy New Year everyone xx

If you have made resolutions in the past did you keep to them as it is said the majority give up on them by the end of January

Mine is to stick with it - now in healthy weight range, although could afford to lose a few more pounds, and to keep my hbac1 at 33 .this was my pre Christmas result and best pressie ever especially as no medication for past two months. Happy new year everyone this site has been so helpful to me in achieving good health thank you all. Can’t believe when diagnosed had hbac1 at 97!

I haven’t made any resolutions for years. But I have good reason to make my resolutions above this year, to stay healthy!

I wish you and your family a very Happy New Year Rachel!

Well I could list many new resolutions lol but never get far with them.
I decided this morning to stop smoking, have tried many times to give up.
I just want to be on a even keel with my health

I normally take time out over the holiday period to re-evaluate the "dynamics" regarding those I work with..
Then respectfully cut them loose in the new year...

I'd like to...

* Discover self-control. I'm sure it must be there somewhere.
* Reach 12 stone.
* Experience love.

There's actually a lot more but, you know, one at a time...
