Sparkling as usual thank you very muchNo type of sugar is suitable for Type 2 diabetics. Most of the sugars end in " ......ose" such as glucose and fructose. In fact, fructose is every bit as bad if not worse than table sugar. Anything that converts to sugar once inside the body is also sugar, and this is carbohydrate.
Sparkling as usual thank you very much
I also know that diabetes should forget something called sugar only I want information about it
Hi. Probably worth saying that sucrose is made up of 50% glucose and 50% fructose; the latter not being good for us.The ones I can think of are
sucrose
glucose (dextrose)
galactose
fructose
maltose
lactose
sucralose (chlorinated form of sucrose)
Thank youas above plus sugar alcohol
With the exception of erythritol. Xylitol is deemed ok by some but it upsets my belly. Liquid stevia is ok but the powdered variety is usually mixed with a bulking agent and I think it should be avoided for that reason.as above plus sugar alcohol
You might want to check your religions position re sugar alcohols. I dont know what your religion is and hope its ok to say that I have a muslim friend whose religion doesnt allow alcoholic beverages but does allow sugar alcohols because they are naturally derived and non alcoholic in their effect so they are considered halal and therefore acceptableThank you
Our religion does not allow us to drink alcohol at all
Thanks my friend anyway the problem is not the problem of religiosity health for allYou might want to check your religions position re sugar alcohols. I dont know what your religion is and hope its ok to say that I have a muslim friend whose religion doesnt allow alcoholic beverages but does allow sugar alcohols because they are naturally derived and non alcoholic in their effect so they are considered halal and therefore acceptable
