Really..I was born in 1958 and can remember it on tv...mind you that was probably Eire being a bit late catching up. Its funny how old tv revisited just seems wrong to revisit eg. Mr PM and I always enjoyed Yes Minister but when I bought him some dvds a few years ago they were just sooo slow and didnt reflect our m3mories despite the wonderful actors. Maybe better leave The Flowerpot Men to histort then. Of course Zi dont know a thing about Paws Patrol.Youtube has an episode from 1953 which is before my time.
Thank you.I think it is; I dreamed I was trying to hand in my Notice To Vacate here and couldn't find it among a lot of other papers! lol
I'm glad Dennis had a full recovery, bag snatching and all!
I hope the day that you had to get up so early for is going well, and will give you opportunities for rest and sleep at some point.
4.8 at 3.15am when I woke up to go to the loo. Forgot to test on waking though! When I did test at 9.20am it was 6.3. A bit of DP going on as I had no breakfast (usually get a bit if no breaky)
I'm a little obsessed with the coronavirus at the moment. Following everything closely as my son and his girlfriend are due to fly to Madrid on the 13th. Then my daughter and her family fly to lanzarote on 18th and me and Eric due to fly to Spain on 23rd! If we go will we be able to get back. And if we do will self quarantine be required. Questions questions....
Things changing almost hourly! Never known anything like it.
Wishing everyone involved a speedy recovery if they are ill and really hope businesses get financial help.
Hope everyone is well. Stay safe.
But sadly not mine, I remember them fondly on my grandads black and white tv. We didn't have a tv until I was 15, how times change.Youtube has an episode from 1953 which is before my time.
Watercolour painting needs layers, usually starting with the lightest colours and building up trying to let the lighter layers shine through. Glad you are enjoying it, I certainly am. I have a couple of art shops asking me to display my work with a view to selling, not sure if I will might take away the enjoyment, which is what it's all about.@Muddy Cyclist thank you for the art and it certainly is fascinating to see how a painting can progress, I have never thought about it that way so you and Gennepher are showing me new things I never knew about. I must admit I found yours yesterday quite ghostly but I was delighted by the update today which was lovely and really made me think.

Oh, I remember them well along with all of Watch with Mother. 1953 was before my time June 1955 saw me arrive. But sadly not mine, I remember them fondly on my grandads black and white tv. We didn't have a tv until I was 15, how times change.

Just remember you have to shout these names out in public. We had a cat called Sunshine and neighbours found it quite amusing each morning when we were in the garden shouting Sunshine when it was pouring with rain. Mind you we don't learn as we named our Labrador Moet.
@HarryBeau what a worrying time that was for your girl kitten, sounds like it's under control though, hope medical history comes through for her quickly and all is OK.
@SaskiaKC exciting news indeed, I'm sure your move will go smoothly.
@Ryhia how did you appointment go?
@gennepher sorry you had such a scare, some Amazon delivery people are most odd, still can't get over the ones who keep leaving parcels in our recycle bin, very strange. Digital art was interesting although I have to say it is almost as scary as you Amazon encounter, must have been influenced by it. Like the result and experiment though.
So I have added to yesterday's painting, still lots to do but thinking about it before adding more detail. A4 have worked on it for about 1 hour 30mins this afternoon. Will probably finish it later and post the completed painting Wednesday.... thumbnail is how it finished yesterday as a reminder.

Links don't work...Did anyone else get the email from diabetes.co.uk about C19 virus and if so did the links work. I have tried several times but get Not Available Message. Is this happening to everyone?
Have just read your post. Great news that there is a vacancy.I can't sleep. Last night I received notice that the small town apartment community has a vacancy for me. In a few hours I must call the manager to accept, then schedule move-in date with him, and with my friend who is moving me; give notice here; finish packing. I am very happy; also apparently very stressed. Couldn't get to sleep til 3 am; weird dream; awake 3 hours later. Hoping to move by the first of April.
@PenguinMum I am glad about the good news from your friend. Hopefully Mr Fuzz is on his way home to Mrs Fuzz.
