What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

how does this end well...
Very sadly I think it cannot end well. Maybe he has been talking to Dominic Cummings who allegedly said 'protect the economy and if that means some pensioners die, too bad'.

Popeye looks so happy.

Can’t see me traveling abroad until I have been vaccinated
Actually - I can't see normal life returning until there is a vaccine.

I had a very interesting telephone conversation with a friend. She told me she was absolutely definitely not having the vaccine as vaccines are too dangerous. She would rather have the virus. I was surprised as I always thought she was really sensible.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who have given up on the media preferring social media for their daily unbiased and factual news.

A cream induced 6.7 this morning.

I wonder what today has planned for us all?
Can one of you gifted posters please explain how a dinner without peas can win Masterchef?

Yesterday's telephonic hospital consultation went well, apparently I am type 2, but in a different new category reserved for transplant patients on transplant drugs. We don't fit the " normal " pattern. I never questioned the consultant over this, but will on next face to face appointment.
Have a great day and make silly faces in the mirror.

They walk amongst us.........

5.3 for me today - not especially pleasing but long sleep and little uptick in resting pulse from tree pollen. In all the excitement I forgot to start taking anti-histamines early enough so self inflicted. @dunelm hug for loss of a friend. @Krystyna23040 interesting take offered by your friend. Not all crowds are equally wise and benign.

Good morning All. Had a lie on today and the result 6.3. Again. Drat.
We are also starting to wonder about home isolating until a vaccine is available. That would come with two big considerations. Not seeing our boys through Christmas and beyond and not selling our house (less important). Mr PM working from home very successful and he retires later this year. We will just have to see how it goes.
Horror show for medics without gowns. I wondered if warehouses of plastic raincoats worn back to front could be used, wonder if anyone has thought about that.
@SlimLizzy what a valiant effort on the part of you and Mr SL good luck and best wishes to you both. @gennepher what a photo, how do you breathe? If it were my girls they just snuggle up next to me. I dont know how you get any sleep with that feline bodyguard lol. @dunelm sorry for the loss of your friend, cruel indiscriminate disease.
Try and have a good Saturday everyone. Stay well, stay safe.

Just reread that...nobody wants to wear a warehouse any way round lol. Idiot moi!

Well doesn't he look comfy. Great to capture it on your phone and not an easy task I expect!

It's blowing my mind tbh. Just when you think it couldn't get worse.

A thought crossed my mind, do you think they could make it compulsory?

Very sorry to hear about your friend.

I am not sure how I breathe @PenguinMum
I would not dare lie down flat or even on my side...
Actually I have got used to him sleeping under my chin, but I always go to sleep propped up.
Because I am on my tablet at the moment, he is sleeping on my wobbly comfy belly, but the second I put this tablet down, he is back under my chin again....

5.3 on my libre reader
5.4 on my mobile!

I've never spent so much time sunbathing. Today I might just have a productive day as forecast isn't good. I've become very lazy in lockdown.

Have to shop today. Take a dinner to BIL. Then paperwork I think. We have taken to making cards for our grandchildren so our daily exercise will see us walking to daughter's house to post. We have presents too. Teething ring for Jasper who has started teething. He will be 4 months old 30th April. And for our 3 year old granddaughter some educational cards supporting her learning to write. We will be waving in at the window. Cant wait till we can play with them again, but especually hug them. We just keep saying that we are poorly. (Deep sigh).

We have similar feelings not being able to be physically with our grandchildren. Thank goodness for video links. Our youngest is pushing 5 months old and Mrs Miggins is crawling up the wall not being able to fuss over her.

After a month they will need to be reusable - irresponsible people just thinking they are single use items. Bags I have mine first and you guys can fight over it after it has been washed.

I don't think they would - but actually they really should because a person who refuses to be vaccinated poses a danger to other people.
