All this talk of long hair taking people back to the old days @Alien Aspie, Mr @Krystyna23040 and others made me nostalgic and hopeful. Liked the hope I saw in this article https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/jun/15/racists-england-diverse-multiracial which echoed I last felt seeing Harry and Megan's wedding. Went searching for this - quite an upbeat Monday for me - very narrative arc. Go Sleepy Joe! Oh, Marcus Rashford you absolute diamond https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...able-marcus-rashfords-emotional-letter-to-mps
Sounds horrendous SlimLizzy but thinking maybe it might be a good idea to phone someone...have a dammed good cry it's hard managing on your own with family so far away.Dont dare phone anyone. Would probably blubber all over them if i did
There's nothing wrong with that number at all7.25am FBG 5.6
I prefer to try and keep it under 5.5.There's nothing wrong with that number at all
Whingefest. You dont have to read .
Feeling thoroughly miserable today.
1)
it rained Within few mins had water trickling down the inside walls heading for some recently installed electrical cables. Did my best to mop up, but it's a fight I can't hope to win if rain persists.
2). Then daughter posts pics on Facebook. Having a lovely time on the beach with her children. And her brother and my husband. As if letting me know what I am missing
is not going to hurt.
3). Its tough enough without that kind of input. Surely she had a pic without MrSlim?
That would have been fine..
4).
Watching the sky and waiting for the next rain. Very, very stressed.
5).
Dont dare phone anyone. Would probably blubber all over them if i did.
6).
Am begining to wonder why on earth I stayed. What was I thinking?
Edited to add:
I can hear thunder. Waiting for the rain.

After a busy day I managed to do some painting rather than collapsing in a heap, much better for body and soul.
So managed to finish my watercolour started days ago. A4 size, South Sherbrooke Valley where it is shallower and the stream just emerged as a spring. This is looking North at mid afternoon.

@gennepher something very beautiful and love the colours of your daily digital picture, like it very much.
@Muddy Cyclist@gennepher thank you for your nice compliment regarding my painting. I noticed I had not painted any skies for awhile so more will be done over the coming days.
