What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good morning everyone from another day of mystery and suspense in the dark and dangerous north

The wonder wheel of a pan baked and grilled “not quite a pizza nor nearly an omelet” came in at 4.9 this am.

There is an open slot in my busy calendar today, great opportunity for a bit of me time after such a heavy schedule guarding a statue of a sofa all weekend. Am I ruining my life by being overly virtuous? Seems like the good folk of Bordeaux have already been addressing some of the issues around slavery throughout history; https://www.connexionfrance.com/Fre...de-past-rather-than-removing-or-changing-them

@Krystyna23040, I hope that your kefir stash works well when you get around to using it.

@ianpspurs , so upping the dutch cheese and spinach omelets will help with fighting Covid-19. Excellent.

Have a wonderful Monday, that there Tuesday is already hurtling towards us, especially if you are in Tonga. Koffy.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen.
Sorry no time today, it's only 8:33am already I have walked and plinky plonky practice, it's a friends 64th birfday soon and guess what I been asked to play.....well mash up really.

6.5 this morning.

Must go a table to make from scrap wood and an old occasional table to finish orf.

All this talk of long hair taking people back to the old days @Alien Aspie, Mr @Krystyna23040 and others made me nostalgic and hopeful. Liked the hope I saw in this article https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/jun/15/racists-england-diverse-multiracial which echoed what I last felt seeing Harry and Megan's wedding. Went searching for this - quite an upbeat Monday for me - very narrative arc. Go Sleepy Joe! Oh, Marcus Rashford you absolute diamond https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...able-marcus-rashfords-emotional-letter-to-mps

Thanks for the lyrics @ianpspurs

Dont dare phone anyone. Would probably blubber all over them if i did
Sounds horrendous SlimLizzy but thinking maybe it might be a good idea to phone someone...have a dammed good cry it's hard managing on your own with family so far away.

Morning...well seems today with non essential shops opening & their car parks filling up we are experiencing a new normal really?...nothing feels normal for me unrest on our streets some children will go hungry over the summer others not able to return to work of course the number of people we've lost are increasing...yes I want a return to some semblance of normality but not at the cost of further losses...spent yesterday catching up on sleep shattered after a couple of spending most of my time in virtual apps & on the phone working...sunny today cats fed one coffee down I can smell the second brewing...a little breakfast lots of paperwork time sheets & other admin things to do but feel the need to tidy my nest...woke to a 6.7 keep safe everyone.

My digital painting for today.
My second attempt at this digital painting app, Procreate.

Whinge fest away.

Me.. ..full of admiration for your strength of will and pure tenacity .
What would certainly scare others and make most think twice, you take in your stride and meet it head on, with sense , wisdom & a little inginuity.

1)...can't think any one of us wouldn't be stressed by that...know I would

2) ..now we both know that was done with love, to show they were ok, as was he, safe and secure....but who wouldn't be saddened to not be part of what sounds like a lovely day.

3). I wouldn't have thought to think .bet she didn't
A little heart to heart and she'll be horrified she has as caused you pain.

4).. can only say what I learned recently
See the stress and what's caused it,
ask if it's REAL issue, OR is it just hypothetical.

5) i say call..if you blub you blub.
a problem shared ...and i'm a big believer that tears are like poison if kept in for too long.

They are a release from many emotions that can overwhelm us, if not attended to.

we stop and rest to stay strong for any long journey.
that is what tears are.
they cause us to stop, and when poured and lost, then we are refreshed and lightened for the journey ahead.

6) we all doubt, and you have a long term plan.
the virus threw a curve ball and YOU adapted to survive.
this time will pass.

stay well.

After a busy day I managed to do some painting rather than collapsing in a heap, much better for body and soul.
So managed to finish my watercolour started days ago. A4 size, South Sherbrooke Valley where it is shallower and the stream just emerged as a spring. This is looking North at mid afternoon.

@gennepher something very beautiful and love the colours of your daily digital picture, like it very much.

That sounds much better to do a painting, whatever time of day it is, then collapsing in a heap. Painting, whatever form it takes, is always good for the inner spirit.

I like it. It works even in a small phone screen (I will look at it again in the morning, it is morning now, but 1:30 a.m., on my larger iPad screen when I have the mobile Wi-Fi on.)

Thank you for my digital painting compliment @Muddy Cyclist
I will get better at it when I learn more on how to work all the tools and effects and colors. But it is interesting the effects you can get, that you can't possibly get on a brush and paper painting without days of detailed work.

EDIT at 5:45 am for @Muddy Cyclist
Just got my mobile wi fi going and opened up iPad. You sky looked good on my Android phone screen in the night, but, looking on the larger iPad screen, that sky is absolutely amazing!

Fbg 6.1 at 4am

Temp 35.3

Dawn was beautiful. And then cloud cover and rain.

The magpies are up early and so are the pigeons . They are vying for branches on the cherry trees at the end of my garden. A strange sort of game going on.

A friend sent me a painting challenge in the night.

She has joined this painting tuition site and the first lesson is free. So she sent me the video for the first lesson, but unfortunately it’s got no subtitles. So I’m going to try on YouTube to see if it’s there and see if I can find some subtitles for it.

I can probably guess what I need to do, but I get fed up with guessing I want the actual words to explain to me what to do just like any other hearing person.

So depending on how I fare with this will affect what art work I will be producing later on…

Take care

Have fun

Good Morning and 6 for me today.

Last nights storms where spectacular, leaving the morning feeling still but pensive.

No idea what is in store for me today, might be tempted to organise some more loft clutter or risk a Mountain Bike Ride, I will see how the weather performs.

Take you day as it comes but always with care.

Good morning each from a tragedy touched part of the world. Very humid here yesterday, some thunder but only a few spots of rain. 4.3 - Libre assisted - of your finest English mmols at 5.45. Meanwhile my bg level is busy living a different life. I too feel the love for that artwork @Muddy Cyclist. 16 hrs to beat yesterday's 25.8k steps (some bonus ones from lawnmower). . Enjoy your day if queuing for Primark or Sports direct. This is a fun walking/exercise tune (even if it was hijacked by the Woolwich Nomads)

Good morning everyone from a lackluster start to this weeks pre-bin day in the dark and dangerous north

The wonder wheel of a lush avocado and bacon salad, zhuzhed up with a sprinkling of sumak, came in af 4.9 this am

Kimchi has just about finished gassing so hopefully will be able to get in the fridge tonight. Too much kefir going on. I am leaving mine to get really thick and creamy which means straining off the whey. So, I am leaving todays batch cooling off in the fridge for a day or so before it gets going.

Loving the artwork @gennepher and @Muddy Cyclist and look forward to a series of sky scenes. You could just do a series of sky only and flog them to Mr Turner.

Have the most wonderful day that you can. I have decided that it’s this one - you do live every day, it’s the dying that you only get one go at so take a long time planning it. Unless of course you are a hippy. Koffy calls.
