I'd painted 3 different Mirandas, 4 stormy skies and 2 seas. Used 35 layers and was trying to remove that silly stone by the wreck but couldn't find it because I'd drawn it on a layer it should never have been on. I may take a break from art for a while whilst I regain my sanity
@gennepher - I love today's Popeye painting, he looks so content and you really have achieved an expressive piece of art with your minimal style
art bit -
the light already seemed a bit autumnal.
Thank you for your compliment, yes Autumn is knocking at our door.good evening all
4.3 this morning
shopping (and bin) day again, it seems to come round quickly. I was a bit surprised to realise halfway through the shopping trip that I'm so used to mask wearers now that I only really notice people without one
Anyway the goodies have been distributed to Mum and stashed, much coffee has been drunk and now I'm heading for the kitchen to make some lc cake bars, I'm fancying mocha this week, keep the coffee theme going
Hope your day is treating you well
@Muddy Cyclist - many congratulations to you and mrs MCand what a lovely, expressive card you painted and your finished chestnut tree painting, it reminds me of a cool autumn evening just as the light sinks down behind the hills with the touches of golden light hitting the upper branches of the tree
@Alien Aspie - it's been interesting to be able to see the stages you have worked through to create your impressive 'Miranda' painting. Working a painting in layers seems to give a real opportunity to try different things out, I'd probably have sooo many layers, (I tend to be indecisive).
@dunelm - once again an interesting rocky landscape, I like the different textured strokes you've used, they really add to the finished impression

Your Sox looks as though she was such a lovely dog. I am not surprised you still miss her.All the talk of pets has made me realise just how much I miss our Sox coming up to two years since we lost her.

Proper mixed bag post. Hug for Judith and the office situation - I can fully understand that. Hug for you for low glucose events - did/do/does StabbyMcStabbyface agree? Massive winner for the humour looking on the bright side with MG and double vision - hence the winner rating. I must have said it before but I do like the cut of jib young sir. I hope your daughter's test and appointments go smoothly.Fbg 4.0 today lovely clear blue sky may attempt a walk in the park later. I had to take daughter to the local hospital for a covid 19 test this morning as she has a couple of outpatient appointments at the hospital next week Judith's second day working back in the office she still is not happy about it.
Looking at a clearish sky the other night it dawned on me the one advantage of MG and double vision is that I get to see a sky with twice as many stars in it than most people and some times two moons can you beat that
My Libre tells me in the last 6 days I have had 13 low blood sugar episodes wow.

Hope it does for you. I spent two years being put back together - still get visits from the black dog but I do know my trigger points and therefore know how to deal with it. Some friends of my parents are over in France this week to visit them but staying in their own apartment. Evidently were told when they landed at Bordeaux that they did not need to isolate - they will though next week when they return to the UK. All the best.@dunelm it might. Now rationalizing, we had planned visit to UK mid Sept. A month after the trip to Disneyland. Ofc that is now cancelled.
Person posting obviously didn't think how I might view their: Poor me. Not seen Mum since Boxing Day post. (Paraphrasing here) Must try to be less sensitive.
