What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

@gennepher - Thank you, I did it on a white background to begin with but decided it needed to be darker. 11 layers on this and in this order:
Dark blossom, mid blossom, light blossom, branches 1, branches 2, leaves, background dots, background, signature, background colour. Phew!

Good morning everyone from a blustery Breckland. So to business. Logbook shows my fbg was 4.1 @ 5.10 but I will average the first 4 or so readings for 4.4. In the small print it makes clear this is via Libre so 1 or more pinches of salt required. Chronometer analysed yesterday at 20 gms carb and 1543 cals for a deficit of 350 cals - scales made that seem fair. I have never yet been satisfied that I have pinned down my optimum carbs, cals, weight or fbg levels. I am currently 73.9 kgs which is smack in the middle of 4 ways of calculating ideal weight (yes, I measured my wrist again). I want to return to 73 kgs ideally. My compliments on the fantastic photographs @JohnEGreen and @dunelm. We are spoiled for visual treats what with the art as well. Really good news on the eyes @gennepher, good work on tracking down the supplement. Hugs for @JohnEGreen on bg and other meds balance issues and @Alien Aspie on breathing issues. My sleep is adversely affected by this less warm weather. I really don't like sleeping under duvets or wearing nightwear. Low carb makes the problem worse - 3.00 am up and about in winter is not uncommon Enough from me. Steps to walk, Assam by the bucket to swig and super salmon avo (and fennel) salad Friday to celebrate.

No doubt he had to stake his tent down better last night and secure Wilfred's ladybird book on Lucretius to the handcuffs of his security guard so the little chap didn't lose it and get in a paddy.
It will be a whiz if he puts a sail on Wilfred's pram, they'll be the talk of all the glamping field and rival formula 1.
 
More chance of me winning The Derby than Hodit actually glamping but nice post.

The portrait gallery is truly impressive, beautiful work not just for its technique and digital mastering of the app but for the soul, expression and character you have captured also. Brilliant.
 
Finish my wild flower meadow watercolur, it got a bit too dark in the foreground but useing Mrs MCs toothbrush for the flowers worked a treat even though I also managed to paint my desk, T shirt, hands, arms and unbelievably even the ceiling, yes I did get carried away. A4 in total about 90 minutes....

Children not safe.
New information coming out of States, children even small children are major spreaders of Covid 19 and will no doubt take a lot of virus home come schools opening up in September. Most of the spread will be without the virus affecting the children at all.

John Campbell on you tube today going through an American paper on latest info on subject.

They told us children were safe, but they are apparently anything but.

I hope a vaccine is just round the corner?!

Today has been so hectic. Food shopping, clothes washing, dog walking, some admin then a meeting at the Church I teach in to discuss their risk assessment.

A brilliant meeting. They had really thought things through. It did mean that I had to come home and re-write my guidelines on safely starting back teaching classes - but I am really pleased with the document now.

Am absolutely shattered though.
