Never mind fingers crossed I think there are several members who will join me in praying for her. Personally, don't think crossing fingers will ever be useful. Hope she gets her job back. Thanks @ianpspurs Mrs is feeling much better although still looking bruised around her eyes where her glasses frames dug in, she has an interview tomorrow for a job on the front counter of our local police station, a position she held for 14years, so fingers crossed she gets her old job back.
It wasn't till I mentioned to my neurologist that I couldn't feel my feet properly any more that I got a HbA1c test and found I was in the diabetic range.I’ve liked your post for empathy
I have Neuropathy too and suffer it the same as you it’s blooming terrible as you’ll know.
Wish you well in the diabetic battle

Weather Gods were furious with youMorning all. Apologies to friends on this site. I talked about empty water butts, brown lawns, grey water being saved and now the Weather Gods are taking their revenge. Water, Water everywhere. Sorry.
FBG 6.3 at 0525. Dreamt I was going to a formal dinner in a "thin" outfit from 20 years ago. Maybe this will come true?
Happy Monday everyone.

The rain is not your fault. It was a certainty that a cricket world cup in England would bring rain. Of course the weight loss will become reality its what folks round here do - real food = real benefits.Morning all. Apologies to friends on this site. Thanks @gennepher and sorry to hear your challenges on that front. As for my situation it was mostly a case of numbness, tingling and the dreaded drop foot which sent me almost into a depression. I was preparing myself for a life in braces / splints / AFOs on both legs. The hours I spent despairing the possibility of a life with limited mobility are many but thankfully (fortunately) mobility in feet is completely back and marked reduction in numbness. I was put on B12, ALA and other stuff that is deemed to help nerve recovery and I must say it has helped a lot... Along with a LCHF diet with special emphasis on Ghee, Walnuts and Almonds. What i am still facing is more a weakness in legs (i have also had some muscle loss thanks to two months in a leg cast due to a fracture). The pain isn’t severe and is a dull type of pain. Doctors believe it is matter of helping the muscles get some mass and strength back while the nerves hopefully recover fully. I am staying hopeful. Good luck to you too. Thanks
I’ve never heard of drop foot... I’m off to google now...
