What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Genepher,
Be very careful with those metal balls, it may give the wrong impression to those of us who are old enough to have watched the, The Caine Mutiny.
Back in the day there used to be Cod balls. Who knew? Fingers were bad enough

Popeye thoroughly disapproves of the metal balls and grabs my hand with his clawed hands and refuses to let go @lindisfel

Dogs can look guilty, but I have never known a cat to look guilty.

My cat didn't even look guilty when he got on the kitchen table and took a large piece of fish, mother had got for our meal and was consuming it when caught in the act.

Tell a dog it's naughty and it hides, tell a cat and it ignores you.

Poor Charlie cat. I do hope he is soon on the mend.

'Cat's Pyjamas' you could do what this lady did and start a fashion....
A report in the New York Times[4] of a publicity stunt by an unknown woman in 1922, in which she paraded along 5th Avenue clad in yellow silk pajamas and accompanied by four cats similarly dressed, may indicate the phrase was already current by that date, as the cat's meow certainly was.[5]

Hugs for Charlie.

5.5 this morning. Not sure why fbs is a bit higher than it has been lately - especially as I have been doing over twice as many steps this week than I had been doing since I closed down in March.

Classes have gone well and class members followed the guidelines to the letter so that starting back felt as safe as it could be.

The flurry of emails and texts after Boris's misinformation about class sizes has died down. So hopefully a less stressful day today.

Good Morning and 5.5 for me today.

Yesterday and Wednesday were long and hard working at MILs bungalow. We moved two very large wardrobes in different rooms and a two massive oak dressers in other rooms. To our surprise MIL had never painted the walls behind any of them and so in otherwise perfectly presentable rooms there was the shape of these imprinted on the walls. Although the bungalow is sold we could not bring ourselves to leave walls like this for new owners and so big decorating job, all finished now but took so much time no art from me. Will catch up today I hope.

Some good art from you all over the last few days, good to know fellow artists are keeping us all entertained.

Tesco run, then clear log store ready for a delivery of Kiln Dried logs arriving on Monday.

Keep safe.

That was so good of you to do this for the new owners. Shows what good people you are.

Hugs for your stressful day yesterday @Krystyna23040
Hopefully a calm day today

That was great that you painted those walls. Hard work, but satisfying for the new owners @Muddy Cyclist

Good morning everyone from yet another survived night into another day of possibilities in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of gochujang chicken stir fry came in at 5.2 this am

We have our youngest grandchild with us each Thursday and Friday so yesterday was feeding squirrels in the park and then even more walking and pram pushing as the defiant little blob decided that afternoon naps were not on the cards just now. Hopefully she will be in a better frame of mind over that today.

Mrs Miggins has decided upon a Skoda Kodiaq to replace her Landrover - it’s the lure of the 7 seats - although one of them will be redundant for the foreseeable future.

Another quick sketch this morning as koffy calls.

Have the very best Friday that you can - stay happy - don’t watch the news and refrain from buying newspapers - it’s depressing.

Thanks Krystyna he was back there yesterday and now has a very fetching cat baby gro to wear...the wound is looking better and he's tolerated his coat...throughout it he has been very good humoured but is desperate to go out...another check up this morning fingers crossed.

Hugs for Charlie.
Charlies is a smart navy blue it can fasten over his entire body but for obvious reasons it's only fastened half way...I have some photos might post one later but I won't mention it to him... not sure I like the thought of matching outfits he looks so cute in his but not sure I could 'rock' the same look...thanks.
