That definitely sounds like a fun evening.Such is life in these strange times. However after this evening meal SIL and I managed to murder many tunes and songs on various instruments, too much red wine, me, and beer, SIL, according to daughter and Mrs MC. Still it was fun.
Have a relaxing day and I can attest to the high quality of your sheets. Your clients are privileged to have such a conscientious and knowledgeable guide.5.5 this morning. Was 4.3 last night.
We were going to Oxburgh Hall today but as we always walk in the woodland we feel the wind speed is a little high at the moment. Also the paths there are horrible when there has been a lot of rain.
I don't mind a quieter day as I have more exercise sheets to write for the new exercises we are doing in class. I like to send class members the sheets so they can practice them at home - if they want to.
brilliantly myopicToday's art has no reason to exist. I was reading a book and got distracted and ended up doing this. I think I'm losing the plot. Back to the book because it's hard to draw your specs when you're not wearing 'em

Stunningly beautiful and calming. Good to read that your back is improving. My finished painting of local pool at Wildlife Centre with some artistic license. A4 watercolour about 2 hours beacause of waiting for layers to dry, painting time much less.

Back slowly improving. Daughter and youngest grandaughter arriving forevening meal and some making of music, 5 of us so still legal at moment butnot sure we are allowed to sing which we will at some distance from one another, what a bother this bloomin virus is being.
Latest news on our other music groups meeting in Covid Safe Environment a hired community hall is that from now we have been banned as the rules are now being interpreted as only 6 can meet to play instruments, sing or do sports in the hall. The hall is the size of two tennis courts , but them be the rules as understood by the hall's committee.
Thank you@lindisfel have not previously been a lover of fuschias, but this one has flowered all summer, even after parts of it were knocked flat by the flood and is still going strong. The contrast of golden leaves is striking against the leylandii hedge. Maybe we need more fuschias in our "garden"
@gennepher how is Popeye doing? And be careful up that ladder.
@dunelm am enjoying you digital art.
@Krystyna23040 we too had strong wi as causing some problems, hope all is well now, both weather wise and otherwise and that you manage to get some rest today. It is Sunday after all.
@Muddy Cyclist Love the pool painting. It does seem ridiculous that in such a large space still only six people are allowed.

This may or may not be of interest. Virtual Harvest Festival from the not at all Frozen North. I liked the service very much but am even more aware now that having only moved 25? miles I really don't connect with this area at all and miss the Church in my home village immensely.Just looked out the window and the fields near the house are white with frost.
It reminds one of being young when the frosts seem to start early in autumn in the east midlands.
It has been rather unusual for Sept in recent years to get four nights of frost.
Having a Zoom morning today with Zoom daughter and Zoom church.
At church we get a chance to sing but dont broadcast any flat notes due to a little red slash across our microphones.
It seems strange for those in church with social distancing, masks and having to keep their mouths shut. Some have said in Zoom breakup rooms they prefer zoom.
Is this Cov19 changing everything permanently? In winter the telephone, or zoom or another technology will be be the only means of contact, sitting in the garden is not on.

bon voyage Brother Ade, hope you are taking sketch pad and pencils with you. I particularly like the first oneMy fbg this morning was 4.7 I am using the libre once again for a while.
My son Brother Ade as he is now called is off to Italy Rome to be exact tomorrow for the several months to do a course so won't see him for a while.
After the course he will be staying at a friary in Italy located up in the mountains for about a month it has been a friary since the 13th century and is one of the oldest in Italy he is so looking forward to that.
These are a couple of pencil drawings he did a short while ago he is far more talented than I.

Thank you kindly@dunelm , @geefull , @Alien Aspie and @JohnEGreen just wanted to say how much I enjoy your paintings. I really look forward to seeing everyone's artwork.
You and Judith must be rightly proud of Brother Ade. I pray the Friary exceeds his wildest expectations. My fbg this morning was 4.7 I am using the libre once again for a while.

Wonderfully understated and you have captured a lot of movement in the waterFbg 5.9
Am getting this number back down again!
I was asleep early last night 8pm. Cat woke me at midnight for food. I am fine with that anyway because I needed the bathroom, and I had a few jobs to do. 3am saw me back in bed again with a cuppa. About7.30 am (late for me), cat wakes me up for food again, but I needed bathroom first! Cat grumbles at me. I feed cat. Last few days I have slept deeper and harder. If cat didn't wake me up for food, I don't think I would make the bathroom in time!
So, I gave myself an hour to do a sumi-e painting...BUT I was enjoying painting with my fingers (I don't use a capacitative pen, can't hold it, arthritis), I think this is exercise for my fingers anyway, and so consequently the calm peaceful sumi-e painting ended up a busy more western type painting that I found satisfying and enjoyable to do! I was thinking about Swallow Falls for the waterfall, and memories...
