What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Don't forget this is global hand washing day wooohoooo.

I follow the Holderness family on FB, love 'em.

5.9 this morning with a chilly start as I had to walk down to the docs for the flu jab. No warning to isolate for 14 days though.

As I was out already and the sun was shining I walked to the green and back so completing my 2 mile walk.

Happy days :)

Morning...busy the last day making a huge chicken casserole & dumplings for friends who have a new baby...even doing a large tray of roast potatoes to go with while not a classical accompaniment her husband loves them...off to deliver them later managed to work out I'm still in CV-19 tier 1 so I can go in & say a quick hello to little Emmeline aged two weeks as opposed to ringing the doorbell leaving them on the mat and making a run for it...caught up in twitter this morning so no FBG...keep safe everyone.

I follow them on You Tube!
So funny, yet relevant...

I am still going to self isolate as I was told after the flu jab.

I am sitting by open kitchen door to watch for parcel. And watch birds and aeroplanes. And Beeb app lied about continuous sun all day.

At least I am next to kettle for continuous cuppas.

The bathroom is on the side of me, but alas, not accessible via a door....

Good work @HarryBeau

I cannot figure out what we are. The instructions I am getting from our local council don't appear to include tiers...the email alerts are full of "don't s"...

FBG 5.3 this morning.

Why oh why can't I just stay away from all those contentious threads where I just get my self in trouble with the mods.

I have bought myself a few pencils some paper and a book on how to draw will I think devote some time to that now but the book is so thick and heavy I am having difficulty picking the flippin thing up.

I have read somewhere that if you can hold a pen or pencil and write your name you already have the basic necessary skills for drawing. It just doesn't seem to be working out that way for me at the moment.

I cannot hold a book, nor can I hold it open with my fingers and hands @JohnEGreen

Suggestions from me:
*Tear the pages out of the book (assuming it is not a borrowed book). Sacrilegious...yes of course it is, but of what use is something you have that you cannot use. (I was aghast when someone suggested that to me 20 years ago, I went through the roof). I use a steel ruler and a knife now (and I have to be careful with the knife).
*You can also cut the book down the spine to divide it in half or three parts. That often makes it easier to hold open the pages...

You might think of something else.

Do I do this...yes I do. And I have those clear plastic file sheets and a ring binder. I put the important pages for me in that. And the pages always lie flat. Don't put too much in one ring binder. You want to be able to lift it.

Have I dismantled some valuable books...yes I have, but now I can enjoy them.

Enjoy!

According to my CV 19 app I am in both a medium and high alert area which leaves me with a bit of a quandary.

Will Lord Cummings of Eyam, get Boris out of this one?
Having St Lucy as Dominic's patron saint won't help him work out a clever slogan to get the pm off the hook!
I think as Warren Buffet says when the tide goes out you can see who has been swimming naked. The skinny dipping nativist/populist crew are having all kinds of problems pinning the blame on anyone but themselves.

Does that mean you can choose?...on a serious note it does rather make a nonsense of the current restrictions if we are not sure which to follow what then?...I keep my outings to few & far between John

Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen.

Me and me's are looking forward to receiving our letter from the powers that be, suggesting how I should live my life during this next round of covid infections, every one who is in the extremely at risk category will receive a letter. I shall read, evaluate and do as I think suits my conditions.

A 6.1 this morning.

Well fellow posters and painters enjoy what is left of today.

Nearly snap, but sometimes me and me's don't care. Sheer devilment wins.
The moderators have a hard task appeasing all. Me and me's last telling off was about 3 weeks ago.

OO er what to do then gennepher

Stay at home in my hermitage and not come out until spring....

By then who knows what might be in place, or what government is ruling, or even if any people are left...

Last Monday when I went to the hospital during through three lockdown counties, our council in Wales said all hospital appointments had to be cancelled by the patient, which was why my internet friend rang the hospital on my behalf. Hospital said to ignore police and council and to attend because it was urgent.

A few days later, the hospitals in Wales were tweeting on Twitter, urging you to attend any hospital appointments you had.

There was something from the local council early last week to say they were preparing for all oldies weak and infirm to stay in their houses and the local council would provide food...

My next comment would get me banned from the internet at the very least...
