Thank you PM. Just feel so exhausted and anxious at the moment.@dogslife that was indeed a very stressful day, no wonder your BG went haywire!
Hope your mum is soon feeling better and is able to return home.
I have been there with both mums and it is all consuming and exhausting. Please take care of you too.
Gave a hug for that as I can't imagine how it must feel not having a Cornish pasty for years .
Thank you @zauberflote for your understanding words. It must have been really hard for you living so far away. I am fortunate to live close enough to mum's to see her every day but each day brings new challenges. I rang the hospital this morning. They are going to do another physio check this morning to see if mum can walk without the pain medication from yesterday and will ring us to see if she can come home. Best wishes.@dogslife oh your poor mum! I hope she'll get sprung from hospital pronto-- no fun for either of you. Sending a hug. Your exhaustion and anxiety is why we had to move my mom 600 miles to my city-- so at least I could sleep in my own bed after whatever awful thing might be next rather than a hotel. I feel for you.
Good night good morning all!
Sympathies for your aches and pains dunelm. Blame the weather! When I was younger my older relatives used to say their aches were due to the weather and I thought this was an "Old wives tale" but I'm beginning to think there is some truth in it now! Hope you feel better soon.A pretty good sleep last night - only woke twice as far as I can remember but drifted off both times.
Hobbled down stairs this morning to take a handful of pills given to me by Aunty Inflammatory; I have had a large helping of arthritic pain for the past couple of days (both feet, right leg, lower back, left shoulder and elbow and right wrist) - wonder if I could get the part of Uriah Heap “ever so humble Master Copperfield.....”.
Anyhow, the wheel of happiness, laughter and spontaneity rewarded me with a 5.0 at 0700 this am.
I had planned on a motorcycle ride this morning followed by a walk down the prom but may have to settle for dragging my sorry arris round the house for a while in order to loosen things up a bit.
Have a great day if you can, contemplate bit parts in 1960’s horror movies if you can’t.
