What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Uneventful journey, Errant was quiet most if the way, arrived late afternoon, cat was installed in bathroom and left to settle down for a couple of hours. Ofc he is finding it strange. The only constant is MrSlim, myself, and his blanket, which is in the hated travel basket.
Am hopeful that he will adapt though as he is now sitting on my lap purring. Even though this is still in the bathroom.

By bedtime he had been in the living room, under protest, at first, but later just curious.
Am hopeful he will adjust. Son1 likes cats and would enjoy his company.

Thank you @geefull

A brilliant calming peaceful scene, even though it has a dramatic stormy sky. It pulls you into the landscape.

Fbg 6.1

Painting...haven't done it yet. Got a couple of postcards to write to post them early...

I might do Popeye, because he is acting like the longest cat ever. Took a photo, and had to lift the fleece to check I did only have one cat under there...he was taking the whole length of his side of the bed....

Another coffee now...

Thank you @geefull - yes, the geisha was quite tricky and getting a facial expression with minimal brush strokes needs a lot of practice. Another dramatic sky from you today. Your hills are always well constructed. Hug for index finger gate. Don’t point at things.

Good Morning and 6.1 for me today.

A day lagging pipes in the void beneath our floor, still have no floors so I will cease the opportunity. So we have a date for fitting 10th 11th 12th December I'm hoping I can get away with telling Mrs MC it's her Christmas present, I will tie a bow on it, should work.

Slow your day down don't let time run away with you. Keep safe.

Good morning everyone from a bracing. morning in the dark and dangerous north

The wonder wheel of slow roasted poitrine de porc avec red cabbage in the Viennese fashion came in at 4.8 this am; a sort of common market classic - completely ruined as we decide to talk in English during dinner.

Silas has been betrayed at Lantern Yard and is now hiding at home and Joe has now grabbed a monster bunch of electoral votes, equal to Mr Blobby who is now back from the golf coarse to see how his latest money making scheme “fund my court battles” is getting on.
Two again today - one on rice paper and some daily bamboo practice on lining paper.

This Diwali let us give thanks for all we hold dear. Have a wonderful day if you can. Time for koffy.

Well done - living on the edge with that innovative and thoughtful Christmas present. Ironing board covers make good stocking fillers, so I have been told.

6.1
Have to schlep back into town to see if Body Shop is open at 10... grrrr!
Then a lot of writing for the last tournament of the year, being covered remotely at home. I do wonder whether this will become the new norm.

I recognised a picture of someone on my local Nextdoor app in a SpareRoom ad and approached him to see if he was interested in the second room I rent out for 6 months ... was a little taken aback that he wanted to see the room at the weekend, in a lockdown! I told him no but if he was still looking when/if lockdown eases at the start of December, he would be more than welcome. Not sure if he liked that... tough.

Have completed my usual Saturday morning in bed ritual of catching up with latest episodes of The Mandalorian and Star Trek: Discovery so now I really think I need to get up!

Good morning all. I keep forgetting to attach another wonderwheel ™ @dunelm Corp, so fbg a known unknown. I promise to do better but one does continually leave undone those things one ought to have done. I apologise sincerely every morning so all is good. Wonderful news summary @dunelm, so much pithier than those sent to my phone. @Muddy Cyclist, no concrete floors then or are you a dab hand with the jackhammer as well? @alf_Josiah never mind sprouts, Felixstowe is chockablock with PPE containers which have been uncollected since August so it can't cope with Christmas goodies until Boy Blunder arranges collection. I'm intent on watching Steady Eddie's Orks pummelling the Georgian Orks via Amazon Prime today. Just how many subscriptions is one expected to have in order to watch sport these days? Have a great day

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen from a rather dull and wet Tilehurst Towers. Nevertheless the day holds promise.

An unsurprising 6.4 on the meter of mystery and naughtiness.

Today under close supervision I shall be moving chests of draws, newly stained and dismantling old ones. Only another 20 minutes of plinky plonky practice to do and I will have completed my daily target of an hour a day.

Well fellow posters and painters what a marvellous opportunity to not write those Christmas cards or decorate the lounge, instead spend a large proportion of the day trying to book a Tesco home delivery slot and what is left of the day catching up on those videos you always promised yourself to watch.

Stay safe, stay dry and remember sprouts are in short supply, best panic buy them when you have the opportunity.

hugs, of course it turned up the minute you replaced it
It wouldn't have been so bad if we had found it weeks later - but to find it one hour after the new lock was fitted and spare keys bought was so annoying.

Still - at least if we lose a key again we have stored the original lock in a safe place and Mr K thinks he could fit it himself easily (if we remember where the safe place it is stored in is).

somewhat hampered by having managed to cut the tip of my index finger, (of all the cliche things to do), on a corned beef tin
Hope it isn't quite so sore today. The tip of the finger is a tricky place in which to keep a dressing dry and clean.

Love all of your paintings. They are so calming and relaxing and you really capture our stunning coastline.
