What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

5.9 for me today - lots and lots of snow here again today - anyone going out in it (not me thankfully I hate driving in it) has been having to dig their cars out to get out of the street

Hi Krystyna,
I have been using this for a few days now and it seems to be the answer to all my problems in that direction.
Thank you so much.
Derek
I am so pleased it worked for you. It also was the answer to my problems and it doesn't taste horrible either.

Brilliant sunrise.

Nice Crows. I do like the expressions you manage to get into your Corvids features.

Super reflections in that water, just like it behaves under bridges or in tunnels.

Lovely painting and lovely to hear that your lady blackbird's soul mate has returned.

What a strange day, other than 4x4 vehicles nothing is getting out of our Close and so Mrs MC and I decided to walk to Shugbourgh where Mrs MC keeps her horse on one of its farms, 12 mile round trip. ... we dropped less than 100 feet into Trent Valley to follow the Trent Mersey Canal and the snow virtually vanished. Walking back up to Etchinghill snow almost gone but back at home still a good amount but at least neighbours have started clearing the road, did in front of my house early morning.
Here be Mrs MC along the cut and the walk back to Etchinghill.

The star like snow flakes 'Fernlike Stellar Dendrites' are very unusual here in Staffordshire, I have only ever seen them in The Black Cullen Mountains and Glen Coe.

very informative genn.

nice post.

very nice pics.

and good it's all hands on deck with snow clearing..

good evening all

5.1 today, self inflicted, not enough exercise and too much food yesterday

We had to dig out the car this morning so we were out almost an hour later than usual for shopping, doesn't seem to have made any difference, when we got to Lidl they had only just opened because the staff had problems getting into the store with the deliveries. All the shops were very quiet

We did get more snow overnight but the plough was round early so, with care, we got to the nearest town without too much trouble. We had about 8 inches or so of snow here.

One advantage of getting to town later meant we were still out at 10.00am so we boosted our alcohol stock too (can't buy alcoholic beverages before 10.00am here).

The weather was cold and sunny today so we went straight over to Mum's after shopping with her stuff and took our snow shovels. she had about 12 inches of snow there so it took us a while to clear our way to the house and shed. that's got to count as outdoor exercise right? Katy made the most of it, she loved pouncing on the snow scoop and 'poofing' the snow everywhere, she ended up like a snowball

Hope your day is treating you kindly

@dunelm - I like your crows very much, fine stroke work, we had a couple just like them in the garden today

@jjraak - good stuff, glad it went so nicely

@gennepher - how lovely that your blackbird's mate has arrived and what a magical cavern of light you've painted today with those lovely reflections
Glad your rainbow hospital seems to be working well

@Muddy Cyclist - Looked like a great walk today
Your abstract sunrise has worked out really well, I love the way the colours contrast and play off each other

art bit - thought I'd have another go at the rock pools down towards the harbour, especially after the generally accepted 'bunch of bananas' feel to the picture last time I tried

Sounds like a lot of digging this morning @geefull

Thank you for the painting compliment!

The blackbird and her mate have been making merry today....

Brilliant rock pools!
A beautiful landscape...
