Thank you @ianpspurs for your kind wordsGood morning all. Bright, clear and bitterly cold here. Nasty little wind chill on my first 2k steps around the Slabbingtons just after 7 am. Has advantages as dog waste freezes rapidly and litter picker gathers it up so much more easily. Swipey feels 5.1 is what I must be, me not so much. 6 years ago I would have taken all this morning's data with glee. 6 months ago I would have been just as disquieted. Today and the next week is all about the next new baby P not me. Julie drives to Southampton later today. Son and DIL have pre cesarean COVID tests Saturday and baby comes Monday. Meanwhile, Julie tends to and enjoys our granddaughter then gets to see, hold and share the joy of the new arrival. The link between the data and that is crystal clear in my mind. Whilst no man can add a minute to his lifespan by worrying, you sure can subtract plenty by ignoring inconvenient truths. The big prize is to stay in the P family picture long enough, in the way a loving God plans for me, whilst avoiding becoming the LC bore that diminishes family time. I feel I am "called" to be here to serve not to make my LC a problem for others (LC is a major burden but for me to carry) Glad the first part of the review went well @dunelm and my thoughts and prayers are with you and Mrs Ds family at this time.
Lovely cherry blossom - the brightness works well with that blue skyFbg 6.7
Painting in Procreate. Blue skies again, albeit minus 5C in the night.
So, cherry blossom against a blue sky...

Yes I know cherry blossom is pink, but it looked wishy-washy, so I made it brighter....
These guys have always blacked up which now causes some very bad vibes, historically it's nothing to do with race but modern times..hey. They now black up red and black which for some reason is acceptable so all is good.Thank you for replying and also adding the picture, darn sarf the Morris dancers wear white, so we can infer the white carb is not a fixture.
Thank you.
And why not? You are an artist.Fbg 6.7

Chilly up here, but gets better from Sunday.12.02.2021

Astonishing result. Indulged in Dulce de Leche cheesecake at dinner, and late night snack several spoonfuls of peanut butter.
Although food has mostly been low carb for several weeks now.
Today we are packing to return to Midlands and motorhome living. I cannot honestly say that it is eagerly anticipated.
However needs must and the surgery has contacted MrSlim with offer of covid jab.
There is also my bossy sister insisting on return for Mothers birthday on Sunday.
Emotional blackmail is a very low trick, even if it usually works.
Stay well or get well, and stay safe.
Busy day so a bit behind with my daily art. I have been asked to paint a A3 size watercolour of tree, sky down, not very exciting but a start, sorry.
A3 for a change. I will try and finish Saturday, no idea what tree yet...

The reason I have been busy is music, I have not managed to record the three pieces the Recorder Quartet are working on I need more practice, once I have recorded them and they have been uploaded I will share them.
Thank you.Liking the 'light' already..nice

That is quite big having to paint A3 sized. I think A4 is big enough!
Forgot fbg today.
Did a lot yesterday
Nephew over so we worked on scooter.
MOT due this week
I perhaps did more then I expected, so ached last night, but slept well .
Today dropped scooter off to garage, a good walk back, so I dressed appropriately. Freezing cold in London
2k plus steps, admittedly some of them slow and part aided by crutch.
One block unaided, the next with crutch and so on..
Felt the muscles working again
Sat here quite happy with myself and progress
Steph birthday tomorrow, missus plans a tea party, few guest as is, but should be nice.
Never knew about the Morris dancers blacking up, weird how using red makes it all ' ok'.
Enjoy the coming day all.
Sweet dreams
