@alf_Josiah
gave a bug in the end but a funny was on my fingertips too.
like the humorous approach ..but certainly agree, that with insulin to take the calculations must be a nuisance.
starting to think exercise is a bit more important for me, then i thought.
Another bond range for me..
O07.3 to be exact...unless SMERSH has got it in for me personal, only exercise explains it.
Can't fast, nope, can't shan't won't
No can do...leaves me feeling awful .
So onward with the LCHF way.
Yes I ate what I was given While convalescing,
But surely 3 weeks later that would have disapaited...?
Which just leaves meds...dropped them right off the odd painkiller, when required
So is it exercise....must get the yoga bands out and begin using until I can train properly, once more.
Stay well all
Cold but sunny in the Capital
Not sure how this will post.
Could someone let me know .cheers

Feedback on the chicken and leek crumble: Crumble topping was surprisingly crunchy and more chicken than I was expecting. There is paprika and cayenne pepper in the dish - I don't do pepper and only milder paprika so that was very noticeable to me. I'm not a fan of seasoning or spice so others may not notice as much. For a keto meal even I - seasoning apart - was ok with it. I did have what would be a normal person's salad (with an avocado) with it which, again surprisingly, made it enough for me.Looks lovely - let us know what you think of the food - Enjoy!
This is majestic @Muddy CyclistI'm afraid my daily painting looks like a three day event, sorry. Bits arrived for my conversion of old working Victorian Oil Lamp to electricity withou damaging the Oil Lamp, well that's the idea, we shall see, so Painting stopped for the day.
A3 watercolour, I will finish Sunday.... it's another Sweet Chestnut in winter coat, lots to do before it's finished.

Thank you @geefull for the painting complimentgood evening all
4.8 yesterday and 4.8 today
still cold but not as cold as a couple of days ago
Mr gee has not had too many side effects from his jab so far but he does seem to have spent yesterday tired and napping on and off all day. He is feeling a bit better today though
We went over to Mum's yesterday to restock her 'logs' in the house and although it was such a lovely looking sunny day parts of the roads were awful because the wind was blowing the loose snow from the fields into big drifts across the roadWe actually came back via the town to avoid that area on the way home.
Some of the local kids have been making the most of it though

@jjraak - good goingand Happy Birthday to Steph
@ianpspurs - lovely coupleand I hope everything goes smoothly for you and your family
@dunelm - fantastic bird yesterday, love the quizzical expression, so livelyand I like the composition of today's painting, very strong and I like the way it leads the eye into the focus.
@gennepher - great blossom and the colour works brilliantly against the skyToday's picture has such lovely delicate blossom and I love the way the petals are floating on the breeze and the light you have brought to your painting
@Muddy Cyclist - A3 size, wow that's bigI haven't graduated to A4 yet. I like the sky you began with it has a lovely subtlety and your tree is already strong and present in it's landscape, I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished painting
Art bit - this image again inspired by Adrienne Pavelka I like the way she has of paring the landscape down.

Hugs for poor Errant all on his own in the motorhome.Have been back two hours. Motorhome is completely frozen. Cannot start the boiler, no heating. We put the oven on to try and warm it up, but after couple of hours was clear this wasn't working. MrSlim and I are now holed up in a local hotel. It's warm at least, but a bit run down and grubby with very limited menu, all served in your room. Hopefully only here one night. In Pre covid times would have simply stopped with my parents who are now only half a mile away.
Poor Errant had to stay in the motorhome on his own. Still at least he got his dinner early, which should have pleased him and we will be returning after breakfast, hoping for a slightly warmer( above freezing) day.
Thank you. This is majestic @Muddy Cyclist

No rhyme or reason to many things these days @ianpspursGood morning on Surreal Sunday. No rational reason why I would have any need to watch cricket at 4.30 am, still did it though. No rational reason why a 5.4 on Swipey 40 mins later should enrage me - still did though. No reason why a man of about 6 ft tall should be distraught at weighing 11 st 13 - still did though. Weird zoom call with a couple of profs. Prof Pure Reason says you do know all you do is release chemicals to make it all worse and logically I would advise you to stop. Prof Pollyanna says remember that great philosopher Pharrell Williams, smiles and skips off. Meanwhile, Mr Cash keeps singing I hurt myself today. I'm gonna watch sport, stroll around the Stabbingtons, drink tea and turn zoom off. Enjoy Valentines Day - you did remember, right chaps? Reason won't enter into the equation if you try to style that one out.
@gennepher I love the artwork and the idea of warming up in bed. Thank you for the reply earlier. Rational? I've just been talking to a supernatural being who appears in burning bushes, turns water into wine, cures the blind and halt, raises the dead and has a close, personal relationship with us all. Good luck with rational. From great literature, art and music to Trump and Brexit humans prefer myths. Of course, some are actually trueFbg 6.9
Digital painting for today in Procreate. I knew yesterday I was going to do snow this morning. It is icing sugar dusting kind of snow here. Quite pretty to watch from indoors!
I gave myself 15 minutes, to do this quick painting, because I have stuff to sort out. Been up since 3 am organising some postcards. Just going to have a quick nap in bed to warm up, then start the postcards again.
It took me 17 minutes to complete. Just using my finger, I don't use a stylus, too much hard work. So, finger painting without the mess!!!!
Take care.

Wow. I hope Moet won't be in pain for long and the dishwasher issues can be solved quickly - same day delivery at worst? The meal last night sounds wonderful and maybe the positive chemicals released by the food, atmosphere and letting go more than counteracted the cortisol planning and measuring so obviously causes. This ain't a one way street IMHO but what do I know?Good Morning and 5 for me today. As the day seems to be kicking off with the word Rational there is absolutely non with my BG score today. Last night saw me give in to Mrs MCs Chickpea flan and even chips, followed by a jam tart made from the leftover shortcrust pastry, then cheese and biscuits. Also our dog Moet keeps crying with pain and the dishwasher packed up so lots of stress, and a night of worry and nightmares. So how is a reading of 5 rational?
Ah well lots to sort out today, no rest for the wicked.
Keep warm and safe.
