You are right - you can't beat locally sourced, skilfully butchered and cared for meat.Thank you - is it too curmudgeonly to say "Meh, the food fairy does what the food fairy does?" The lamb from here is wonderful as is all their meat because it is locally sourced, skilfully butchered and cared for. I could happily live in Chippenham, lovely church and amazing cricket ground. Have you visited Chippenham Hall?
Sunday in a nice warm bed seems good @dunelmThank you @gennepher - I think that I may well be heading back to bed soon.
Good song, just odd choice..
Good morning from a chilly NE Somerset where I've already been out with the overactive poodle, grabbed a copy of the Observer and chatted with a couple as Arthur sniffed the posteriors of anything and everyone within nose distance.
Spoke with our local pcso - bought her a coffee and she was telling me over the weekend they handed out 30 covid fines...can't people learn? I was incensed.
Daughter next week is going to be practising low flying - that made my heart stop for a while; probably the same if you're underneath her as she whooses by in that hulking beast of hers!
FBG this morning after a dinner of sole, spinach, greens and a big salad was a good 5.3 - the best yet.
Sid the Stinger is getting a run today on an essential journey into Bristol - in the week since he's been with me, I've only done 75 miles so we're not acquainted yet...but I need to watch his turn of speed as I've only just cleaned off 3 points for doing 36 in a 30 - and as that was Scotland, they don't do speed awareness courses, or didn't when the radar pinged me! Grrr
Boiled eggs, coffee and Serrano ham for breakkie followed by a delicious Metformin 500mg.
Have a brill Sunday all and enjoy!
And it is a thing. Only in America...I'm in trauma.Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen.
First a word from our sponsors, whoops no that's not right, first a word from Mrs J.
Mrs J would like to thank you all for your best wishes and humorous comments and says that Mrs J does deserve saint hood.
Mrs J had a really good day, caught up with children and grandchildren, finishing the day with a Chinese takeaway, a favourite of hers washed down with a small bucket of sherry.
My blood sugars this morning having partaken in the Chinese takeaway were a surprising 6.0, perhaps that meter of mine was feeling kind.
A slow day here in Tilehurst Towers is planned, but you never can tell.
Well fellow posters, painters and gamers may your day been filled with mirth and merriment and warmth and a nice Sunday dinner, please spare a thought for those who live across the Atlantic and have discovered a new gourmet dish.....weetabix coated in baked beans or so I have been informed.
Me and me's must go..... medications and koffy are calling.
Hand and footnote if you wondering about the use of the word " and " I bought a job lot off ebay.
"Bucket of Sherry"....Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen.

Memories. Camberwell Green, Gerald Harper on Capital, music for the Royal fireworks at Crystal Palace bowl with bubbles. Acute homesickness but that all helped. So to 2021. What is the purpose of our new cordless vacuum cleaner having wifi? Just for Julie to check if I've done it?

Thank you very much @jjraakNot the world's greatest art critic,
And probably won't stack up with those who are...
But..
@gennepher ...Fantastic Pic of the threads cat
Love it
A hug for the hands, hard to imagine such work if able, but to turn that in when so seemingly immobilised....awesome stuff
@dunelm , hugs for the lurgy, do hope it's representative of superior fire power being downloaded to combat the covid
But really like the pic..can't paint, but impressed by how you got such an ethereal thing as mist , portrayed so convincingly..bravo.
@geefull ...hope all is well today, mum certainly has been blessed with you and her guardian angel. Mr G, on side and to help out so much. Respect
The water level...not meant as criticism, just my view, it looked fine to me.
Had 2nd look because
And I then saw it less as a river, more as a flood plain maybe, where the water table had just risen dramatically from the run off after a major storm ..liked it
As for direction of water, not a Scoobies about how I should be judging that, if I'm honest ..
As said no expert, but perhaps like many, I like what I like.
Cheers all for the time, effort and the share involved .. appreciated.
Pavilioned in splendour and girded with praise. This is my local club - have you been?Busy day mostly in garden and recording music so just popping in and will catch up later with a glass of Brandy and a Log Fire lit.

LC chocolate cake with a mixture of double cream and full fat yoghurt flavoured with rum for afters
Another paddling pool in mum's garden, this time it's in the hole mr gee dughopefully a temporary feature we've put an old plastic patio table top over it to keep Katy from getting curious.
Hope your day is treating you well
@gennepher - Hugs for your painful hands but a big star for the wonderful handsome portrait of Popeye you have created. I hope he is pleased

You have portrayed that misty morning very well, not easy, but you have managed it very effectively
@blacknjr - welcome
@Muddy Cyclist - these fast and furious tunes must be good for maintaining manual dexterity as well as being entertaining for us
