What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

A grand old Mr Broc caught in the moment of surprise ,you have captured him so well. I think much better than with your camera, lots of action, the bemused look and cover of darkness.

Life can be like that, only Baldrick could protect himself by carving his name on a bullet.
I believe I have been fortunate in life, whereas my parents were not.
D.
Would it work if I carved my name on the stairs?

That is a surprising reading for such a low carb day but working out why is probably an unsolvable mystery.

6.0 this morning. Mr K is dog walking. I wanted to go also as I feel so much better today but Mr K is adamant that I need to rest. I tried arguing but knew he was right and that resting today is probably a good idea.

@ianpspurs have started listening to the Ted Naiman video on protein. What he says makes so much sense and am looking forward to listening to the rest of it.

Badgers, Ninky Nonks, shopping trips and recovery days. We're only at Wednesday- how much more fun can a man take? New Swipey was honestly at 4.3 today @ 6.09 - down to 3.9 by 6.30 and this is the right arm. Assuming I trust that there is the how/why riddle. Sashimi lunch and mackerel avo salad for evening - nothing unusual there really. Suffolk hay fever is very much not to my liking but Petula has it right. Hug for the mysterious high fbgs @Muddy Cyclist. Give it beans today team but vey, vey safely.

Glad you are feeling better but Mr K is very sensible - baby steps for now. Naiman makes as much sense as anyone to me but I know nothing anyhow. There are a few other high(er) protein advocates.

Do take care Mrs - sorry to hear of your fall and hospital visit x

Wonderful badger - swirling out of and back into the darkness - great movement, smashing facial expression.

Thank you very much @Muddy Cyclist
You are right I would not have got much with the camera. In the dark.
There is barely any detail on this painting, It is just a suggestion of detail.

Thank you for this information on higher protein.

Have finished the Dr Ted Naiman video. A really good detailed explanation of why the PE diet is good for you. It makes so much sense to me and it has strengthened my resolve to severely limit the cream and increase protein.

Since I started having much more cream during the various lockdowns my body composition has changed and I have put on at least 3 inches around my waist. Not good. I am very optimistic that I will lose the inches by following PE guidelines.
