What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Now you know, Ian, what ET felt like?

Thanks @SlimLizzy

Wonderful bit of colour work @dunelm

An expected 6.2 for me this morning after eating some leftover late night munchies of son's pakora. I find it really hard to resist sometimes if it is there ...

Picked up new glasses today - not sure if they are ok or not yet - might just take me a day or two to get used to them - new varifocals ...

gave a win.

but last line...

good luck

a hug, well remember the mis steps getting used to ordinary bins,
when i tried vari's i was all over the place,
close, near, far..... all within a small swivel of an eye...

sure you'll get used to them soon.

nice fbg btw
( considering you threw yourself in harms way to prevent more Landfill and food waste..win

bunny hugger, be da-aammed.....Planet Saviours. )

respectable..

and thanks for sharing @jjraak even though we don't deal with Vodaphone it is good to know. Glad

it is essentially android, suspect it moves out from Voda and spreads out to others

Article on twitter mentions ipads and presumably apple.

But an awareness is all that's needed, until it coincides with an actual delivery...

Good Morning and 5.9 for me today. I have to get these numbers down, SAlmon Salad for meal last night. Steak salad for lunch and a whole day of Muddy Cycling, I expected better.

Missed yesterday as out early morning until evening Mountain Biking with Son in Law. Met Mrs MC and daughter for lunch at ours by doing a figure of eight route with lots of twists and turns I between. CYclists tan developing well.

Will catch up later.

Mrs MC gets her second jab today, she is worried as the first made her feel so ill for 12 hours.

Keep safe enjoy the day of rest.

Good old George, nice supportive dragon.

We watched The Last Kingdom being filmed on Port Ore BEach Wales, took them two days and it was the opening scene which lasted less than 1 minute.

A fine pair of Toadstools. Seems they survived the Badgers and the cat.

Winner for good news, hug for memory problems.

good morning everyone from a propellers in a clear blue sky start here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of sitting round a Teppanyaki with all things marinated came in at 4.5 this am

Another day at the little house on the prairie. All spring cleaning finished by lunch time and then our daughter and SIL came over with the girl in the bubble. Played a round the table game called Rummikub last night, a tile based game based loosely around elements of rummy and mahjong. Gets quite complicated as the game progresses or was that the wine?
No idea what we are doing today yet - the decision makers are still sleeping but could involve walking in sunshine and other ruined versions of Katrina and the Waves songs.

Art bit - more birds - have a wonderful day, wherever you go, it will be somewhere painted anew. For me, it’s a visit to the koffy pot.

Fbg 6.8

Okay, a slightly sleepless night. My fire alarm which flashed into my bedroom decided to go doolally yesterday. New battery didn't help so chucked it out. I still have flashing fire alarm for kitchen, but wouldn't see it in my bedroom.

So, I decide to put my Android phone on all night alert for noises. Just leave it on all night, and if a noise, it will flash that bright torch light, and when I look at it, it will give me time and duration of the noise, and detail of the noise.

Flashing light woke me up around midnight. Landline phone ringing , it said. What? Then I realised my window was open, locked in the groove, and my horrid neighbour must have had a landline call.

Then flashing light woke me up again around 2:30 am. Knocking, the Android said. So I checked front door, from inside, no one anywhere. But checked doors anyway, and put all lights on. Back to bed. Couldn't sleep. So made cuppa and did emails.

Suddenly flashing light, but a prolonged one this time around 5 am. Knocking it said. Checked front door again. Am getting a bit nervous by now...

Anyway, finally light outside, so I go out and check back garden. Someone has been partying hard in the night.

No I don't think it was them...

No, not these either
But there doesn't appear to be an emojie for what I want...another look...

No, not a skunk...but pretend he is the badger...
He had chucked my garden tables around.
He had scattered some seed packets I accidentally left on my swing last night...
Tried to pull down my bird feeders and scattered the fat balls...
And he had got on my wooden swing...
And much more...

I have a headache...I need a nap...a long one...

My painting this morning in Procreate....
The dragons are based on some 30 year old cake decorations I have!
A quickie. I had wanted to do more on it, but I want a nap even more...
I am going to get a new fire alarm on Monday...at least that never goes off...
