What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Back to Motorhome, it actually does feel like home.
But a squatter moved in while we were away and is proving difficult to evict. Any time the door opens she is back inside again.
And at bedtime MrSlim discovered the bed was wet. If found earlier could have dried it out - the boiler is under the bed. As it was much grumbling and changing of bed linens was the best we could do.
Errant was happy to be home too. Rolling to and fro on the warm tarmac, following me about, got more exercise in one evening than in the entire week in Norwich. Meanie me has cut his food by one gramme per meal as well. However it might be my fault he has put on so much weight. Realised a few days ago have bought him the wrong food. It's for active cats - the big 7 on the front misled me into thinking was for cats over seven years old. Since there is only a day or so left using it up. But have been very careful to get the less calorie dense version for senior cats today.
More dismay this morning, checking on the appearance of the newly cleaned furnitiure, we found that an armchair has got wet, particularly as this was the only one that had been re-upholstered and didn't need cleaning. Seems the downpour ran under the door and soaked up into the fabric.
More rain today. It's the anniversary of the flash flood at Le Rocher. Guess what weather prediction - thunderstorms, warning there is possibility of a months rain in 24 hours. That's what happened last year! Only because of lockdown we had been unable to hire a digger and clear the drainage ditches.
Did manage that later in the year, now have to hope if the heavens do open they will be effective.
Texting neighbours to see how things are...

Thank you @geefull for your kind words. I had a chilled out day today.

Aaaggh, now I got the Capita boats, and I failed, so I closed down the web page and opened a new one up...

The Fabriano paper is great for your painting today.
Brilliant.

Neighbours report very dry conditions, they would like a bit of rain. Be careful what you wish for...

I have a job nailing Ian's quotes every time, muddy.
He sneaks one in from the B.F.G. now and again. I think he missed mine from the book of Kings today.
D.
He keeps us on our toes. Mind you on the working class v middle class activities there are some mighty fine musicians, poets, artists, scientists and Past Conservative PMs from working class backgrounds if my memory serves me well.

Good Morning and 5.7 for me today.

First a Muddy Cycle Ride. Friend in garden at lunch time for a catch-up investigate damage done to garden by yesterday's Gobstopper sized hail stones.

Keep safe strive for a perfect day.

I get the Capcha things every time I try to reply to @geefull on her post and yes, the Fabriano paper works very well.

6.3 this morning. We were having an insulated roof installed in our conservatory today but we were told yesterday afternoon that it has been delayed until tomorrow. Everything is out of the conservatory but we had to put Archie's bed back in there because he got upset it wasn't there.

Got confirmation that classes are exempt from the rule of 6 as long as there is no mixing and we adhere to the 2m rule. So from the 17th May I will slowly get back to our venues. Am also thinking that even when the 2m rule is scrapped I will still keep to it in classes. Just to be extra safe.

Fbg 6.9

My painting in Procreate today. No thought in mind, just did the background, then decided to put silhouettes into it....
Make of it what you will...

I am going to do an 'I am going to do what I want to do day today...' and it doesn't include people or answering the doorbell...
