This sounds a very good way forward @Krystyna230404.7 this morning.
I am feeling a bit like a market trader as I sell off my equipment. Sold a lot of cushions and mats and small equipment yesterday. Sad to see it all go, but it saves so much time now everyone brings their own. No more hours of sanitising mats and equipment, washing head cushion covers, packing everything up at the end of the day and lugging bags of it to the car. Probably the only good thing to come out of this pandemic.
Yes, I think you are so right. It wasn't until 'bring your own' started that I realised just how much extra work supplying everything myself caused. Also, it was hugely expensive to keep replacing the equipment. This sounds a very good way forward @Krystyna23040
Many of us might have been too accommodating pre Covid and lockdowns, in some things...
Mr K definitely is always rewarded with decent whisky. Especially as I delegated the job I hated - putting the clean cushion covers back on the head pads.Probably also swelled funds (apples always fall in orchards) and will save £s on washing and sanitising. I do hope the sainted Mr K is rewarded with some decent whisky
Phew. I can enjoy my tea now. He is a hero to we cheps on here. We have our own whatsapp group to share concerns and offer support. Will he make Henley this year?, please don't forbid him from a simple pleasure. I'll sort the blazer and cap/boaterMr K definitely is always rewarded with decent whisky. Excellent - win, win, win4.7 this morning.

Thanks @geefullgood morning all
4.5 today
we spent part of yesterday strimming and raking, my how tall everything had grown with the recent warm rainy daysthen I fell asleep after dinner and didn't do any art . Never mind, the sun and exercise won't have done me any harm
Off to Mum's shortly to pick up her shopping list, we have homemade soup for lunch to take and a couple of leftover meatballs for Katy (for some reason she's not a fan of soup preferring chicken or meatballs - never tell me the dog is daft)
Hope your day is treating you well
@ianpspurs - just the blood results to wait for now then, hopefully all in the good range
@SlimLizzy - we have a 4' bed, a 4' 6" bed and a 2'6" bed, the 4' one was supposed to be 4'6" but was delivered and assembled before the suppliers mistake was discovered. I have single bedding for the smallest bedroom kept in there but tend to not worry about the other two, I find sizes can be slightly skimpy, especially fitted sheets, so I bought double quilts for each of the other beds and buy flat sheets, just gives me a bit more to tuck in
@gennepher - I've made my own bedding before too but, like you, I don't bother now unless it's something special
a lively and colourful painting today, birds at that size must be a cat's nightmarepoor Popeye, he looks suitably unfazed though
@dunelm - winner star for the sipping wine in the sun and for the painting bothVery effective colouring and the resist really has worked well, I hadn't heard of brushable wax resist before. I'm thinking getting some Winsor and Newton lifting medium to try next time I make an art supply order
art bit - I was trying to get the rays of sunshine coming through the clouds in the evening.
not too dire but I'm a bit disappointed that the colour turned a bit muddy because of the mix of pigments, I think it would benefit from cropping the top area of the sky out

Ideally all walls would be white here too, as it helps to - not conceal, that's impossible, but make less noticeable the many irregularities in a very old building. However MrSlim has very strong opinions on colour. So we have a green, pink, blue and even a yellow bedroom. All of which have differing sizes of bed. And coloured linens. Matching them up can be tricky, all white solves that, but makes identifying sizes even more difficult.Oh, all linen must be white as per crockery and walls, ideally.
Thank you for your comments @geefull . I have seen that lifting medium but am loth to try it on rice paper. I wonder, like @gennepher if you should try cropping tools on phone, IPad, laptop etc., and look for possibilities.good morning all

Great stuff, this P.E. Diet is suiting you.5.1 this morning. It looks like dawn phenomenon is no more and fbs is now consistently lower on the P.E. Diet.
All classes are local today so a much easier day with no travelling.
My eyes are tired and blurry, it's hayfever day...Good morning everyone on a bit of damp squib of a start here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of an overly portioned chicken dinner came in at 5.5 this am - greedy boy.
Tradesmen's entrance used yesterday for odd jobs round the house, can you still have a tradesmen’s entrance? Will other entrances need to be constructed for fairness or will the trandesmen’s entrance have to be chucked into the canal? Somebody mentioned crowds gathering in a football stadium and local public houses for a knees up and to court controversy on a large scale. Can politicians really be sure that their personal mobile phone is not a snooping device and how easy can a security camera be swivelled round? All this, and more if you dare to turn on your tv.
Art today, after the contemporary Chinese artist Huang Binhong. Have a wonderful bin day, make the most of this mainly harmless and gentlest of parades and do join in with the Bin Shanties. Time for koffy.
