Thank you @gennepher - it’s a bungalow which has had a further two bedrooms and a shower room built into the attic. Great idea, Hokusai’s great wave forming a tree - might have a go at that.
So good having a decent broadband speed - pretty essential if working from home. Yes, those episodes of Yes Minister do seem to have been written by Nostrodamus.5.0 again this morning. Got lots done yesterday. Am able to work much faster now I have doubled my broadband speed to almost 1000mbps. Was really good again yesterday and took time out to exercise.
We watched an old episode of Yes Minister. I had forgotten just how good it was and although really funny (and at least 20 years old) I could imagine that it depicts really accurately how our government operates now.
Will catch up with posts later. Dogs are waiting for their morning walk.
Thank you @gennepher - we are hoping that this is our last move.Bungalow sounds perfect. Accommodation upstairs for guests. And shower room as well. I hope you are very happy there @dunelm
I was going to say “Yes? how dare you!” But not that particular album, perhaps covers such as Yessongs. Very thought provoking post from you today and yes, many transplant patients have a lot to be thankful for. Have a good day.Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen.
Today will be day of reflection and giving thanks to the brave family who 29 years ago allowed their sons organs to be donated and thereby giving life to people like myself who received his liver, but I also must not forget the young man who sadly died. I have been fortunate to see my sons become adults go to university, get married and have childreno. I swore as I walked out of the hospital for the first time that I would live as normal a life as I could, trying to show organ donation works.
I hope I have achieved that, and in doing so proved that the young mans untimely death and his brave family's gift of life to others was not a waste.
A 6.5 this morning.
@dunelm , your art work this morning reminds me of the group Yes albums covers. Did you not say you were travelling darn sarf? If so remember your passport for the dangerous Watford gap crossing. Safe travels.
Stay safe fellow posters, painters and gamers.
You go away Dunelm and your local main TV Transmitter catches fire. It would never have happened in my day!Thank you @gennepher - we are hoping that this is our last move.
We did turn them into soup last year, over a kilo of them.seemed a bit of a waste, but in a village of six houses not many neighbours to give them toYou could easily turn the mange tout into soup and freeze for later. I think they use mint in some soups with mange tout.

Yesterday were looking quite healthy and delicious, if a bit small for human consumption. Obviously slugs don't need so large a portion. But now, out of six plants i bought have only one survivor. It's a shame to deprive the slugs of such a poor feast !
Did try exactly that technique last year. Blanch and freeze flat. Think they will be allowed to go over and become peas this year.I think that mangetout needs freezing flat, on trays after blanching before bagging - you could puree and store in small portions or use ice cube trays to make a bag of little blocks. Pickling works.
Causation, what causation. You go away Dunelm and your local main TV Transmitter catches fire. It would never have happened in my day!

Love this @dunelmGood morning everyone from a damp start here in the daaan saaaf.
The wonder wheel of something creamy and chickeny and cheesy came in at 5.9 this am
It’s dead posh here on the Thames but they still have operating TV transmitters - ours oop north was burned to death in an uptake of Wicker Man practices in protest to bland news reading and turning “The News” into “Jolly fun japes and opinions” - don’t listen to what they tell you on the news, we have deaded ours. A walk up the swanny river this morning, once it brightens up a bit, Dark Sky app promise of no precipitation.
Another tree today - I did a few in anticipation of our little trip. Have a tip top day if you can. Koffy has now been served.

Good morning all from Forest Heath where the coolest things are the weather, huge USAF aircraft and the veehickles of the service beings. The feisty new Swipey spat out a 5.6 today for which Gloucester Old Spot the Avon lady has no lippy. I hope all your loved ones have better results today. (Butler to Badenoch seems a suitable title for a history of our demise if rumours are true). Enjoy daarn saarf @dunelm. The poshest part of Ingerland by price appears to be Winchester which I shall visit when No 2 son moves. @Krystyna23040 have an amazing time with daughter and family but be kind to Mr K after all that housework. Does he don Marrigolds and pinny like moi? Welcome @Jojo85 It goes without saying that the real bin day is Thursday, yee haw. Similarly, I implore y'all to live your best lives but if that involves cup cakes, even LC ones, you are a lost cause.
