Fbg 6.7

Creative for today...
A5 sketchbook.
Used almost dried out old Pentel pen.
Sprayed paper with water mister.
Then tried old Pentel pen.
The water drew out the ink, so a quick sketch.
It worked well.
Let it dry.
And a light watercolour this morning using water brush pen.
And here we are...

Have a good day, and don't get drowned in torrential rain like I did yesterday despite parking directly outside the shop. It took me rest of day to warm up in bed with electric blanket...

4.9 this morning. Last night the Southern Bypass closed for roadworks. Couldn't work out how to get back on to it and managed to get lost before finding a safe place to set up my sat nav. It took me on a very interesting drive along single track roads until it got me back on the A47. It was such a relief to be back on the roads I know.

That worked well, love this landscape that you have produced.

Good morning everyone from a so far deluge and tree rattling start here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of too good a bargain to miss pork belly from the butchers shop came in at 5.2 this am - loads more left for a bit of a feast tonight.

An improved window of opportunity in recent weather so walked into town under a threatening sky. Allegedly - and according to Dark Sky - it will be fine for most of the day today so another splendid walk down the promenade today and maybe the beach - low tide today is just about now. Tickets booked for Festival of Remembrance at the Albert Hall. Mrs Miggins may have her new car on Friday - so she has been told. Second hand. It had only been traded in on the day that we saw it so needed a few things sorting out. Still, the wheels go round and the indicators works (unlike on BMW’s).

Art today - I have no idea - it was a sheet of paper that I used to blot things with so fiddled about with it. Have as marvelous a day as you can. Time for some koffy.

@Krystyna23040 hug - well elbow bump just now- for last night but winner for fbg. There's a perfect thought for the day on All Saints day in there somewhere. @gennepher elbow bump for you and the drenching and cold yesterday but winner for the creative. November 2nd has seen my fbg up and down over 6 years, mainly Stabbington based - average 5.3 ish. I'm sure your artwork and purple prose will be spiffing as per, young @dunelm. Today the gas man cometh to quote for a new boiler in Nanny London's abode, I march/mooch around my garden since this town has an infection rate up above 600 per 100k whereas Cyprus has 73 84 just now per 100k and this weather forecast for Nov 13-20. Getting from A to B and back will be squeaky bum times but it does look as though I'm better off out of here as much as possible. Y'all stay safe but it is increasingly clear that "the plan" is to jab us then let us all catch it hoping it won't kill too many before we can "live with it" whilst flatly denying that is the plan. Reckless is as reckless does.

Thanks @ianpspurs

Does a Libre sensor trigger the alarm at the airport boarding security check? Will be the first time I've flown wearing one if all goes ahead and I wear one. As I type this JKP's Facebook has just shown images of exactly 4 years ago today when we were in Paphos- spooky, huh?

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who tread the diabetic tight rope.

A gentle 6.2 on this morning of frost and that’s just indoors, must be something I said, didn’t say or perhaps me and me’s were caught not listening……again. I think that meter is on her side.

Well fellow posters, painters and gamers today is another day of wonder, best make the most of it, just in case me and me’s have to come out of retirement, if I post what my job was I get reprimanded by the site moderators.
Now I must go, before I type something inappropriate for this useful site.
Have a great day and stay safe.

It’s not triggered the alarms at airports so far

Creative today. I started it last night with the spray water bottle and old Pentel pen. It wasn't the best black&white drawing this morning when it dried. It is intended to be wild choppy seas...but...it is nothing like wild choppy seas...

I think it will be an ongoing painting for today, so I can't post it yet. And it might change to a landscape (in portrait mode) with trees and grass...

So, it won't be posted yet, unless a miracle happens with it in the next hour...because I have to get on with the day...
