Hugs xCurrently sat in hospital ward bed, post ops, so T2D taking a hit from incoming carbenstein foods..ho hum
Good news is best score so far, was today,.
A little more aware of surroundings and better food intake so scraped in s 6,6 late evening check, after food.
Covid capital once more, whodda thunk it
Best wishes for those with kids, does seem to be mild for them,
but with the few who do need hospital, etc, it must keep many a mum & dad awake at night praying it's not theirs next
Nurses hit hard here on Thursday morning just gone
(My 12 night here today, so festive, if nothing else )
We went from 3 experienced nurses down to one running ALL bays this side, run tagged and finally getting help from others less experienced...god bless them all.
Chap in bed opposite me 4 bay berth trauma ward, went into iso as his little girl tested positive at home, after she visited him last night
He's been discharged, was planned beforehand
Prayers for them both
Our Steph & flatmate positive.
Mild symptoms so far.
Office of 10 for our Steph's flatmate ..all got it after Xmas do.
Girls out of iso 26 Dec

Travelled tubes everyday since Jan 2020
Baby sat me during early Nov when I got it
And now testing neg, even though she's designated shopper and dog walker for the girls.
I pray she's right and there are millions like here out there
Have docs appt early morning, so a zap or two on the morphine to dull pain, then bedtime
Night all.

Ninky Nonks not yet spotted those advent sweets! That is terribleGood morning everyone from a dark and early start here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of festive sticky cranberry sausages and associated stuff came in at 5.6 this am
Fun and frolics this morning already with cheerio’s and toast for the ninky nonks prior to a drawing and sketching competition that will probably go on for another hour or so. The rest of the day is an unknown and they have yet to spot the sweets in the advent tree thing hanging in the hall.
First of a few prepared Christmas flavoured pictures today. Hope that everyone is well and so good to see a few old faces here. Best grab some koffy.

Oh now remind me of how to make your vinaigrette.@jjraak what can anyone say that you haven't heard? DIL is a nurse - teenage cancer ward- but the nighttime single hander is very much her experience. Prayers for you and your family. 6.6 under these conditions is a stellar effort. My fbg was 5.2 at 3.31 rising to 5.6 by 6.21. Dawn visited - the graph on Swipey is very telling. I've scheduled 3 gym visits this week, first is today. @gennepher thanks so much for sharing the sheep card. @dunelm thank you for the seasonal artwork. The attached is a different perspective on that pie. My take is it is LC so obviously not meant to be enjoyed plus I ate it with salad and the vinaigrette I so adore. Most LC food is edible with those two. @karen8967 thanks for the motivational image and I guess the fbg is borderline jelly baby. Y'all take Whitty care.
3 table spoons EVO - plus a little for the bowlOh now remind me of how to make your vinaigrette.
Thanks for that - i will make some as we are having steaks with salad for dinner.3 table spoons EVO - plus a little for the bowland whatever is in the mackerel in evo,; 1.2(ish) acv (always, always, with the mother) - Bionia or Willy's ideally; 1 .2 dijon mustard (fairly heaped tsp basically) - ideally Maille. Bear in mind my salad fills a family sized pasta serving dish and I adore vinegar. Took me a while to accept Balsamic was off limits. EVO? Extra virgin olive oil; ACV - Apple Cider vinegar. I know you know but many can't fathom the TLAs. JKP is a little more enthusisatic with the measures and I enjoy that even more.
Enjoy. Now I'm feeling some pressure for sharing. Hopefully won't affect my gym performance. Thanks for that - i will make some as we are having steaks with salad for dinner.
@jjraak good to hear that you are r recovering well from your op. Hope docs appointment goes well this morning.Currently sat in hospital ward bed, post ops, so T2D taking a hit from incoming carbenstein foods..ho hum
