Yesterday afternoon was sunny potting shed, my comfy warm bed there, flask of tea, and writing.
Darkness fell, but stayed in there writing, all my stuff was laid out in there.
But I did take a in a couple of fully charged rechargeable lamps for that eventuality.
Watched those bright stars and crescent moon again.
Finished what I set out to do.
Came in.
This morning I awoke.
The buckets that gather rainwater had been slung around the garden.
Wind?
Went out.
I had forgotten to bring in the empty cat bowls, with coming in from the potting shed when it was dark.
What is that pale yellowish liquid in the bowls?

Creative today. Laboscope again. But this kaleidoscope looked strange. I had taken it in the garden. Why is my woolly hat in it? What is that horrid flesh coloured stuff in the middle. It actually looked indecent shapes...
I had taken it in selfie mode! It had done weird things to my nose...
So I messed with that middle bit, to disguise it completely. Now it is fit for human eyes. And Popeye was actually already there, but worked on him a little.

His relics were translated to Ramsey Abbey where both my father and myself attended school and I was confirmed. Also reminded me that a new series of The Last Kingdom is out tomorrow - Netflix. I have been so blessed to have spent most of my life with wonderful, loving women as have so many. They all deserve a Feast Day and a huge apology for the appalling way men have treated them throughout history and still do. I pray my five granddaughters are treated better than women have been in my lifetime. Mea maxima culpa also. Ukrainian refugees seem to be subservient to they shall not pass for our statesman leader. No room for sentiment when his career needs rescuing. John Donne may have some useful insights to share on the times in which we live in the attached extract from Satire iii. Very sunny and clear blue sky here but also very cold. Huge thanks for the kaleidoscope @gennepher and the art @dunelm - little things mean a lot. I do hope The Last Kingdom lives up to expectations. So very few things in life live up to expectations. Now, when I were a lad everything met my expectations. Milk, nappy change, sleep. Simples. Things soon became a tad complicated. I seem to recall Keats had plenty to say on that subject but I still enjoy Basil - just not the potted Isabella variety . As regards the second point, this is sadly true - the stories coming from our UK visa application centre in Poland are a disgrace. Secondly, this implies that the oligarchs have much to fear and little influence on Putin. Local news just had a very big cheese in UK fertiliser industry basically saying Boris' green agenda is doomed until we feed ourselves - re-wilding etc dead on arrival. Talk of £3 loaf and £7 pint. Farmers thought that was highly optimistic.Seems reasonable simple.

Foxy Loxy even left some of his wet stuff on the cushion covers of my thatched swing. I put my hand on it as I was about to sit down on my thatched swing with a morning cuppa.
This swing and cushions on it have been there for 20 years, and no one has had the audacity to perform such an act before...
