What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

I am intrigued @gennepher as to how you are going to sort out Foxy Loxy. Am lookin forward to your post tomorrow.

I did like your art work today and I found Popeye
Thank you @Krystyna23040

Foxy Loxy even left some of his wet stuff on the cushion covers of my thatched swing. I put my hand on it as I was about to sit down on my thatched swing with a morning cuppa.

This swing and cushions on it have been there for 20 years, and no one has had the audacity to perform such an act before...

I am not happy...

How tragic is it that with Ukraine in such a dire situation and a whatsit storm * brewing in our own country the most pertinent summary, IMHO obs, of how badly we are being led is a satirical one? Looking on Jerusalem and weeping is quite apt for Lent so will anyone in Antigua see the irony if that hymn is played before today's test? *Aside from the differential impact on various demographics I have a hunch LC/Keto food will take a big hit. Feedstuff for animals and fertiliser for leafy green crops already suffering.

The cat in the hat in the garden. Good luck with tackling Foxy Loxy.

We are looking forward to The Last Kingdom also. Satire iii - truth or falsehood - very close in today’s politic. Tricky.

I think you are right @dunelm. Especially as I am recommending the pub to all my clients.
What is especially good as they don't mind completely changing their menu to suit what I can eat.
What a find - changing the menu instead of just blurting out “it only comes with chips.”

I do hope The Last Kingdom lives up to expectations. So very few things in life live up to expectations. Now, when I were a lad everything met my expectations. Milk, nappy change, sleep. Simples. Things soon became a tad complicated. I seem to recall Keats had plenty to say on that subject but I still enjoy Basil - just not the potted Isabella variety . As regards the second point, this is sadly true - the stories coming from our UK visa application centre in Poland are a disgrace. Now, make those kitchen fitters some basic builders Young Sir.

Seems reasonable simple.
Oligarchs can't now use their 2nd, 3rd etc etc Homes here.
Seize, freeze or just plain commandeer said establishments.
Fill with refugees.

THEY or more correctly THEIR Government is causing hardship and much more to others.

They presumably benefit & have way more of Putin's ear then doth a lowly peasant.
Let them suffer and be part of the solution.

Right.

Off to sort this global warming, thingy

While it seems a TV theme today

A thank you for the heads up on Utread of bevanburgh.
Thoroughly enjoyed the last lot.

And oddly I had watched Viking previously.
But oh what a hard slog episode one was

Lost heart, went on to the last kingdom.
Similar-ish era. (literary licence obv )

So went back and loved Vikings at the 2nd shot at it

Vikings is back .
Valhalla...looking good

Many years after, but very much the same vibe.
Just missing a Floki I feel.

And because little gets my attention TV wise,
I mention that the walking dead is back..on Disney+...

Shall reserve judgement
A bit like a Sunday sci fi matinee at the moment, .

And anyone who saw reacher with the Mi imp,
Be assured THIS Reacher (Amazon prime)
Is full on hokus pocus good cop / baddest cop.

A decent twisty plot line, some plain unkillable/unbelievable fights etc .

Suspend belief, and just enjoy good guys winning.

Simples when you look at it that way. Not sure the Tory Party treasurer would be fully onboard with hurting tennis partners of our PM. Secondly, this implies that the oligarchs have much to fear and little influence on Putin. Local news just had a very big cheese in UK fertiliser industry basically saying Boris' green agenda is doomed until we feed ourselves - re-wilding etc dead on arrival. Talk of £3 loaf and £7 pint. Farmers thought that was highly optimistic.

Agree the suspect would be against that

Point still stands , though
Sanctions, sanctions, sanctions, as I believe the trade calls it

No one needs two homes when others don't have ONE.
If you have a home elsewhere and you are part of a system depriving others of theirs...so be it

Peppercorn rents until they can return.

As for global warming

Hard to see how providing as much food for ourselves as possible, or buying as close to home as possible, was ever NOT going to be part of the equation.

How we do it without farmers or farms is the tricky bit

Flying food around the globe..
24/7 ...madness.

Good morning,

Fbg at 7.30am was 5.7

@jjraak I just finished watching all 6 seasons of Vikings, loved it. I do want to watch Valhalla next. Hope it's just as good even without the sons of Ragnar Lothbrok in it lol

Hope everyone has a great day!

Oh no @gennepher. That is so disgusting.

Hard to tell @Jojo85

Early days, but looking promising.

I can see why people liked ragna & his sons.
Interesting storyline as well as decent acting.
(Ivan the boneless, who could have played him better ?)

Very much similar to the early Vikings,
Early days as said.
Fleshing out the back story.
Building up characters.

So far very enjoyable.
But I am biased

Give it a go

Think you might be pleasantly surprised.
Lots of recall to Families of old.

Not too difficult to see daughters of rollo and sons of ragnors sons well represented, as well as some decendents of familiar faces .

Australia has just flown a C17 in to Poland 70 million dollars worth of medical, food and ammunition for Ukraine.

I doubt if Ukrainians will agree with you.
