I usually don’t bother with low blood sugars when just going into town but when out for the day I carry a couple of baby belle cheeses. Mrs Miggins always has an energy bar in her pocket.Good Aternoon Everyone
Late posting today been out all day looking at shrubs yucca and small trees for front garden makeover just got home just about got home before heavy showers at this moment.
BG this morning was 6.2
But I’m having trouble with BG dropping rapidly whilst we are walking around, they are happening on a regularly basis over last couple of weeks, I suspect it’s because I only have yogurt and berries for breakfast and at 6.2 this morning it soon drops to the 4 mmol that’s when the dizzy spells abs disorientation starts. But garden centre have good restaurants in them so no bother getting something to eat. But I think I need to start taking something with me or contact our doctors to come off the one tablet a day of Gliclizide they put me on recently, I don’t think I really needed it in first place has my BG was never above 7/8 mmol even the senior doctor asked who had given me Gliclizide has he was complimenting me on great BG control. Time I came off then will call to enquire this afternoon. K
All the best with that roof integrity and hope that you get to see your grandchildren soon enough.12.03..
7.35am FBG 5.6
8.45am FBG 5.1
Surprisingly low FBG this morning as had late dinner (after 9pm) steak with chips and peas last night. Followed by a very sweet and carby coffee religiouse.
Made nut granola, but added 100g of porridge oats this time. Will make a portion about 10g carbs if i have fruit as well. Dashed off to French lesson this morning, then lunch with the friends who were hosting.
Too wet to get out in the garden, so got on with clearing the second spare room. All the stuff out of the motorhome had been shoved in there and ignored. Relocated nearly all of it appropriately .
Now have a pile of boxes ready to go in the loft tomorrow. Mostly curtains and children's toys and games. Sadly we are not expecting to see our grandchildren anytime soon. There is a smattering of Christmas stuff. When we get up there it will be interesting to see if the roof has retained its integrity after a second visit from the roofer. Its the first real rain we have had since then.
Great painting @dunelmGood morning everyone on tap on, tap off, tap on, tap off sort of start here in the dark and dangerous north.
Electricians have now been and gone so we just wait patiently for all the plaster work to dry. Oh it’s so much fun. Farmers Market on today so a wander round there with a shopping bag may be in order later this morning.
Art bit - Enso - but not in one brush stroke. Have a pleasant Saturday if you can. Best get on with the koffy thing.

A Public Announcement!
I have been waiting one week to see how it went.
I have high hopes for this one.
My baby female bluetit from early last year, when my horrid new neighbour who actually chainsawed into my garden vegetation destroying my bushes and cherry tree destroying birds nests and eggs, and has flown with my sparrows ever since (it was like they adopted and took care of her), has now found someone she is happy with.
I have been anxiously watching over her all year.
Earlier this year a male bluetit came in my garden making overtures to her, and she would have nothing to do with him. Sadly 3 days later, rebuffed and heartbroken, he left. I was heartbroken too. I had a Mama discussion with my little female bluetit. My little female bluetit was never going to find a partner. She was happy flying with the sparrow flock.
That is until a week ago.
She was feeding off the fatballs when in flew a male bluetit. And danced around her. She immediately lit up. And danced around him. Then they did the swirling flying dance in the air. And they have been doing that ever since. She is so happy, and so is he.
He is not as good looking (how shallow I am!) as the absolutely perfectly groomed bluetit that flew in earlier this year. He is untidy looking and scruffy. But when you fall in love, you fall in love.
I am over the moon with this.
They are doing their bluetit flying dance now.
Maybe Mama will have some bluetit grandchildren soon...
So guess what my creative is today...

Have finished the shopping and now donning work clothes, will be up in the loft soon , after the world's shortest ever coffee break. Poor MrSlim took coffee back to his desk, so no break at all for him.All the best with that roof integrity and hope that you get to see your grandchildren soon enough.
Its good to break out once in a while, seems to help prevent sending the diet to hell.5.7 this morning. Really pleased with it as yesterday I went over my normal 23g carbs with extra berries and cashew nuts plus extra cream. I just felt rebellious and didn't want to stick to it - so didn't weigh my food or log it in Fatsecret. I must admit I did enjoy it.
Today I am back on the 'straight and narrow ' and back to my normal eating pattern.
Great story and illustration.Fbg 6.3

MmhhI have some idea where Joe Lewis makes all his money but probably should try to find out more about that and how all the "franchises" I follow - football, cricket, rugby, NFL are really funded. I’m also wary of blaming racism or the fact that Ukranians are European and Christian but those thoughts are definitely there. This type of piece has come to my attention a few times in the last few days. Interesting fixture between those two clubs tomorrow for reasons other than football. Dilemma
Surely CFC won't be so crass as to play That Chune pre-match, given the title, in these circumstances?Mmhh
I absolutely hate it when I do everything right and the blood sugars are much higher than is ideal for me. I have never worked out why this happens.? An awful 6.2 on Swipey
