A clear starry night all night. Cold out. Didn't bump into any nocturnal creatures. Moon was very bright...

Creative is using yesterday's sunset kaleidoscope to make it into circles to see if I liked it.
I have kaleidoscope ideas in my head, but I cannot recreate what I see! Kaleidoscopes are random anyway.

His lordship may be too small today to see...
He is just seeable, but that is only because I know where he is!!!

Have a coffee. I am going to make another...
It is 4am...

Interesting transformation into circles, like a crazed colour wheel. Popeye spotted when I zoomed in.

Good morning everyone on what might be a nice day here in the dark and dangerous north.
What a day - an exploration of B&Q looking at paint - so many shades from the colour wheel and they can mix an ‘exact’ match to anything you like and then show you what it looks like under differing light conditions - do I have enough hours left in the day to stay interested. Also, who makes up the dreadful names for all these shades - can I have a job. I know some far more frabjous and catchy words. Who would not want to go for slubberdegullion yellow or sneaksby green. So, we grabbed a selection of swatches and stuck them on the wall (at home mind). Today we return to the kingdom of DIY with chosen swatch and have a batch made up with not a cottage core influencer in sight.
Art bit - more use of my large sheets of unsized rice paper. Ides of March today so behave with caution if you venture out. Time for a koffy.

I lost interest after I spotted a colour that I liked - same principle as buying shoes - go to shoe shop - look at shoes - pick a pair - job done. Thanks for your art comment.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen, today I have an agenda, no that’s not true I, me and me’s are only following Mrs J’s orders.
Bloods this morning were 6.6 .

Mrs J’s orders were get out on that motorcycle and put some serious miles in. Mrs J never said “ I want to be alone “ or “ Get out from under my feet “ , but as we all know it’s better to say “ yes dear, in a non patronising way while nodding your head “
Woodworking and plinky plonky will just have to wait, I know a nice place which does decent koffy and a vegan bacon sarnie.
Stay safe all.

Morning all. 5.6 on Swipey here. I am not of the cast of mind to see that as in any way safe or to just shrug my shoulders and say it is what it is. Hugs won't solve the problem so thanks but no thanks. Moving on. Today began as wet here but is now - 8.52 a.m.- sunny and promising to be temperate. @gennepher another wonderful, uplifting kaleidoscope for which I am hugely thankful. Last night sounds as though this could have played on loop. @dunelm thank you for the art once again, amazingly generous. Returning to the scene of the crime against the English language - is that wise old chap? White or magnolia if you must have paint for me. JKP seems to like gaudy, for which read other colours. Opinions are apparently like fundaments though. I'm sure there exist ways for me to enjoy today - some of which may also be good for you. Yes Forrest, life really is like a box of (LC) chocolates. Go Team D.

Not feeling my usual brilliant self this morning, the sleepies got me last evening and I overslept this morning. Waking at just gone 9.30am. No inclination to get up and do anything - but should really drive to lab to get bloods done. First though, get dressed... lurking online has more appeal and lively music is irriating not energizing This will never do.

Aviva used to be Norwich Union and I spent much of my gap year working for them but by summer I gave it up for music and a free electric band.
Definitely
A very good choice. Mr K plays the accordion but sadly our girls took after me and didn't inherit his musical talents.

Actually, I gave it up for cricket, fruit picking and festivals but Albert Hammond didn't write that song. JKP was a little superstar at music. School concerts on the piano, choir etc. Nothing remotely linked but I b..... love this song. Lyrics Bisto ad 1993 did that to me.:angelic:

All is well in my garden.
Shadow (cat) is eating her breakfast.
And now got on my wooden swing and is swinging it.
Mrs Blackbird is watching, waiting for her turn at the cat biscuits.
The sparrows are playing.
Mr Magpie has his beady eye on the proceedings...
Just sounded the driveway dog barking alarm at him. He flew away.
A raven is on the cherry trees.
Heffalump (wood pigeon) has just landed on the 12 inch circular bird table, and brought his wife with him. He is gobbling up all the peanuts. Wife is not impressed.
The courting bluetits are still in bed...

A kaleidoscope from my garden in Laboscope and Procreate.

Maybe, but for 50p - 2020 - a pop from a local butcher they were cheap and tasty protein. I think they may have "gotten" more expensive but the principle holds. Also definitely Elsie friendly.

to be told is to obey in Mrs J’s case
A round trip of 126 miles and a rare albino vegan bacon sarnie, the koffy is a constant

So you are still a paper map person @alf_Josiah ?
Me too.
Because I need to see the broader picture of the map, not just a blinkered one road bit at a time that the Sat Nav gives you.
On my left forearm in biro is written the A and B numbers etc of the roads, if it is a long journey.
It is all you need.
Except in Wales, where I have noticed (over the years & J had said it was a thing in Wales to confuse the English) some signposts are turned round on country roads...
In which case a compass proves useful...
