Skips are missing from all good stockists (and some genuinely awful ones) so we have some serious civil unrest here. Your'e too late Martin Lewis (apologies for the source). Some history of food riots in this area.Thank you @ianpspurs and also for that hot tip - I am running out of cupboard space for more loo rolls but I shall get the grandchildren on the case to demolish the mountain of Walkers crisps we panic bought last week.
Oh no, I will now have to put the daily wail through a fact checker before I am banned from all social media for 30 days. On second thoughts I might just stick with poaching - can one poach from supermarkets or is that frowned upon in todays delicate circles?Skips are missing from all good stockists (and some genuinely awful ones) so we have some serious civil unrest here. I had a word (or a few rather), on chat with OVO explaining that their smart meters were not being very smart, and expecting me to do manual readings daily.
Oh, I'll just press some buttons on my computer typed Brooke, and then I'll authorise a couple of things.
Now is there anything else you need today asked Brooke?
Are you sure you have sorted it all out I questioned?
Of course replied Brooke. It is all set up now.
Now my smart meter monitor gleefully informs me that it is being smart and sending readings to OVO. I hope this continues....
Shadow was sleeping on the swing last night, and I think that might be the reason Foxy Loxy did not visit last night, and my raised vegetable garden was left alone. Dare I plant some seedlings today?
Shadow seems to enjoy swinging on the swing...
Creative today - coloured Fude pen inks on a postcard. Snapseed for name and frame.
Hard to draw today. My hand went clawed in the night, and I am still trying to release it. Still doing all my hand exercises, but it is not helping. I used to have (still have) a tens machine, to help with all this stuff. The hospital told me which one to get (in 1990's), and they set the frequencies for me. But when I got my cochlear implant (14 years ago), I was then told I couldn't use it any more on my shoulders or near the cochlear implant area in my head. Unfortunately that was the main area where I needed it. So, I stopped using using it. Just rooted it out. It still works. Just tried it lower down in my body, But it is a very strong powerful setting (the hospital in England set that). It is an older bulky model with wires and batteries.
So, checking out newer models online, they are usb powered, and some small ones with no wires. Also checked current up to date cochlear implant advice on this, about using a tens machine. Now, 2022, they say you can use a tens machine on on your shoulder, but not any nearer than that.. But I would never use that strong a setting that near to the implant. So, I am googling to find a small usb rechargeable tens machine (no wires, but like a butterfly, if you get me), with various settings. And it would be used on my arm, I cannot reach my shoulder anyway now. So, that is where I am at now with this. I need to do something.

Thank you - very good advice. All the best with that - don’t forget to write them down
Yes, it did feel exactly like that.your day yesterday sounds like the type of day Lionel Blue used to call chicken soup for the soul.
Thank you, very good advice. I decided today to just do a few every day. It is so easy to forget to write them down.@Krystyna23040
And write down which site they are for, and also not on scraps of paper as I am wont to do...
I have a box of these scraps of paper...
I@gennepher good news that the advice has been updated and you can now use a tens machine. So, checking out newer models online, they are usb powered, and some small ones with no wires. Yesterday, Shadow was boldly entering my bungalow, I left the study door open, and she was going in and out. And then later in the day came into the potting shed where I was and debated getting on my bed in there, but she decided not to. No Foxy Loxy last night either in back garden or my vegetable garden. So that is good.
This morning, Shadow was first in the cat diner, then she patrolled my garden, and left.
Next in line was Mr Magpie who is coveting the wet cat food this morning. I think his missus (who I presume is on their eggs), sent him out for something better than dry cat biscuits. He takes three mouthfuls, swallows them for himself, then chooses a big chunk for her and flies back with it. A minute or so later he is back again, so the nest is quite near. He is going to and fro this morning...
Now, the parade of the gingers. Manky Stray is eating now, but he keeps checking the sky...
Creative this morning - ink background was easy enough to do on the postcard. But still problems with fine inkwork with the Fude pen with my hand. So, I found I could import the inkwork to ZenBrush3. And then I could do the black inkwork of the detail of the tree and signpost despite my hand not being cooperative. Because I was working in layers in ZenBrush3 this meant I could use the eraser in the app to sort any strokes that happened not where I wanted them. So, for the immediate future I will probably work like this. Then Snapseed for name and frame.
This also means I still have the actual coloured inks on the postcards, possibly to do a more personal postcard detail for my postcrossing when the postcrosser requests particular subjects.
So, win win!
Coffee next...

I hope the leak is easily fixed as apart from that the post was a clear winner.12.04
MrSlim was , unusually up before me and brought me coffee in bed. So no FBG today.
We had some errands in town, but the car has sprung a leak so that has to be fixed before any further progress can be made.
Love the blue flowers on the tree @dunelmGood morning everyone on a bit of an overcast start here in whatever day it is here in the dark and dangerous north
All was calm in the household until 7am today - a win win all round but I think it was because Mrs Miggins sneaked iPads (or whatever tablets are in the childrens pink armoured cases) into their bedrooms before we went to bed. Headphones included.
Farm trip was a real winner yesterday and today the entertainment is exploring the local woods and paddling in the stream that runs through it - welly boots at the ready. There are also rumours of ice cream after the expedition returns.
Art bit - a bit of blue for Cliff. Enjoy your day, every little helps. I shall continue the joy by making koffy.
