I use bee propolis initially @Krystyna23040
But I am sorting out my essential oils this morning, so might get the tea tree out.

Mr K had definitely hung up his motorcycle boots for good now. The motorbike is polished and stored out of the way in the garage and is just awaiting a new cover to protect it.

He admitted that the 3 near misses that happened on a five mile ride really shook him up as they were really serious near misses. Then, when my class member's husband was killed on his motorbike, he decided that it was time to call it a day as the standard of driving on the rural roads around us has got so much worse lately.

We are off to Gooderstone Water Gardens shortly. Hopefully the water lilies have flowered.

The bike may stay in that garage forever and be polished and admired from time to time. He might even put the helmet on and sit astride it. But now he has made a decision he won't ride it again. I am just talking on experience from my cousin.

No vegggies will ever be the same as home grown in Cambs but we sought out the nearest locally grown substitute we could find. We also found the lowest carb lamb stock for gravy Waitrose sell . No Eton Mess today - JKP has a very Elsie version, nor favourite LC cake - I’ll spread those out over the time I’m invaded. I will have some red wine since I doubt that will be the only poison going into me over the next period. Obviously this is just My Way to celebrate as LC as possible not The Way so back off Pearl Clutchers. Enjoy your day as you see fit - just don't spoil other people's or claim to know what is best for the whole world.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen, if you woke up this morning it’s good, that’s not rocket science.
Me, me’s and myself feel a special mention for @gennepher, @jjraak and @Krystyna23040 and just so @ianpspurs doesn’t feel left out @ianpspurs. Mixed bag responses, just want to say thinking of you.
Well bloods this morning were a self induced average of 11, I know what I ate and drank and I know why, sometimes one just has to say test icles and one certainly did last night, contrary to the opinion of those who know me well I am mostly human with a large percentage of Neanderthal thrown into the mix, yes the takeaway Indian and red wine were nice, would I do it again probably, but not soon.
Now plinky plonky practice has been completed for today 45 minutes, a bit of polishing the children’s bench seat I am refurbishing and possibly programming my sat nav, that’s my day.

Hope Goderstone is/was everything you hoped for. Hug is for Mr K but should probably be a winner for avoiding the potential calamities. Thanks for the kind words re our grandson. He was in critical care back in September aged <1 month, tubes everywhere and so frail. So guess who may be spoiled - also almost certain to be the baby of our tribe - youngest child of our youngest and only the 2nd boy.

The bike definitely will stay in the garage and be polished and admired. He is going to SORN it so, like your cousin, the decision is definitely permanent. Thank goodness.

It is so good that your grandson is so well now. Not surprising that he will be spoiled a little.

Gooderstone was magical - the birdsong, the sunshine through the trees and the water lillies. In the summer it always reminds me of a Monet painting.

The dogs had their frozen doggie yoghurt and Archie stole Poppies - although she didn't seem too bothered as she was more interested in Mr K 's sausage roll.

5.6 this morning. Am relaxing with a coffee while writing new lesson plans for the weeks classes.

I was practicing some new exercises yesterday so will introduce them to the classes this week. I like to keep the classes varied and interesting. It helps me also as I also need varied and interesting things to teach.

Have started my Rebus book that I bought two years ago and I have a nice long break so should be able to read some of it after I have read Saturday's 'I' newspaper.

Cold yesterday.

The usual regular birds apart from Mr Magpie and the previous Mr Blackbird, and Little Miss's (teenage sparrow) mother. But her father is back.
Some new bird kids on the block. A young male robin who has tried and tried but cannot figure out how to feed from my bird feeders (but previous robins have had no problem), and the new Mr Blackbird, who is now definitely Mrs Blackbird's second husband.

Cats, all the current regulars, and one new kid on the block. She appeared a week and a half ago, making a beeline for the cat diner. But then she saw this huge black furry monster, so she hissed and spat and then ran away. I have seen her a few times from indoors, trying to sneak to the cat bowls unseen, but she has been hissing and spitting and arching her back at everything and me included. She was still frightened of Midnight, but she was hungry. I was out yesterday early morning feeding Midnight, when she came along at the same time. I brought out an extra bowl to feed her separately. She took a couple of bites, but ran away. Midnight strolled after her to the end of the garden. And it was almost as though he had said, 'It's okay kiddo, you can feed from my bowls', because she came back, and went to Midnight's bowls and ate calmly instead of bolting her food and looking around scared. And Midnight got on the swing to watch her eat. This morning the new kid came along as I was watering the veg garden, and she was purring round my legs, so I stroked her. Then she went up to the cat bowls and ate under the watchful eye of Midnight who is just above her on the swing seat. I The cat bowls are under the swing seat to keep them dry from rain.

I have never seen Midnight show any animosity to any other animal, cat or bird.

Looks as though it might be a nice day.

Oh, new kid, I am calling her Ammy because she looks like Popeyes's mother (Ammy is short for Amethyst).

Creative today is a photos of a garden ornament, which I played with digitally, and then put through Tiny Planets App, and played with again...

Things to do, another cuppa to make.

Good morning all from a dull Exotic East. I'm still not testing but I do analyse -carefully- my food and drink in Cronometer. Thoughtful gifts yesterday for combined birthday and father's day; Phd birthday cake bar + birthday cookie/cake. I tried both (bar was oh so sweet) and a bar of Montezuma's (morally I must try at least 1 square but we will use it for Ganache, eventually). @gennepher thanks for the creative. Your Trip Advisor reviews must be good as the customer base is growing - costs must also be rising. @Krystyna23040 yesterday sounds very relaxing which is well deserved. @karen8967 great to see you here and smiling at fbg. My day revolves around helping care for 2 grandchildren plus JKP as much as possible. That will do me as my mission here on earth. Managing T2 and The Big C are simply means to that end. I need to at least try to read the Ant Middleton (who he?) book I was given @everyonelese do what you must do with due care and attention for your own safety and not just the rights but needs of the rest of humanity and animals.

Our Steph came round for father's Day
Also her flatmate, my 'niece' turned up with the furry nephew. (looking after him over night, then .Laurens taken him for a long walk into her workplace)

Knowing they were coming up, I delayed dinner and plated up for all of us when they arrived

Some ribeye steaks , small new potatoes..(I snuck a few on my plate ) and I gave mushrooms, leeks, grated garlic & a splash of double cream a go, as a steak sauce.

Everyone suitably impressed

Must put on the menu for our next soiree..

Late hot afternoon ladies and gentlemen and all the surviving members of Mozarts rock band.
A 5.5 this morning on the meter of despondency.
Hopefully attached is the finish children’s garden bench seat that I have been refurbishing, it turns out that it would have been easier and more economical to make a new one, but a length of Victorian floorboarding, reclaimed decking and some bits from the old seat. The design has changed slightly.
Well stay safe fellow posters and gamers.
