What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Birthdays, birthdays, enjoy every moment.

Went to audiology appointment at 00845 last Thursday.
Walked to the end of the atrium of Cumberland Infirmary in a rush to get back home and walked Into the rotating door. Fell backward and bumped my right cheek of bottom on the floor and got a massive heamatoma through heavy fall backwards and spent two nights in hospital acute unit getting sorted out.
Derek (accident prone old man!!)

I hope you are okay now @lindisfel

What a wonderful day you had with your family @ianpspurs. It is especially wonderful as only a few months ago your grandson and MiL were fighting for their lives.
Your Häagen-Dazs chocolate drizzle Gelato also sounds rather wonderful.

The planters look amazing now @alf_Josiah

Hope you are feeling a lot better today Derek. These things happen in a flash. Good that there were no bones broken.

Ouch! I hope that you are now feeling a lot better and thank goodness no broken bone.

Planters are brilliant @alf_Josiah
They make a good mug stand.

Excellent renovations. Someone will get a lot of pleasure out of them.

Good morning everyone and at the moment the sun is shining brightly through a crack in a mainly overcast sky here in the dark and dangerous north. More rain yesterday but it did not stop the girl in the bubble getting to her favourite cafe for toast and butter in her one piece puddle suite. Still, it brightened up later so we got a bonus balmy afternoon sitting in the garden. For those who don’t know what happened at Wembley yesterday - don’t read the papers or turn on your telly apart from to watch it. What was interesting is that Frankie Valli was right - unlike their vastly overpaid male counterparts - big girls certainly don’t cry. Well, during the match. Art bit - padding out the tree branch from yesterday. Have a marvelous day if you can, hope you are not in too much pain. I must now partake of koffy - not as much caffeine in it as a bottle of Buckfast but hey, if you drink any of that stuff, you will certainly go higher than Icarus.

Fbg 6.6

Yesterday, it was obvious that Midnight has lost weight. Instead of being an overinflated football, he is now a large rugby ball. Because of his football shape he was never able to reach to clean his nether regions.

For the first time, yesterday, with a bit of contortionism (and some cramp I think), he actually managed to reach these nether regions. There was a bit of rolling over in his attempts to do so. He was sitting on the steps and rolled down them a few times. But he came back up to his favourite step (outside my open bedroom door), it has a coir mat on it, and he tried again and again and again. He had to pull out quite a bit of matted fur from that area, but he got on with it and yanked it out.

It took him all day, and by the end of the day, his nether regions were a delight to behold...they were clean.

He must feel so much more comfortable now!

Every different variety of small bird (that visits) is in my garden this morning. They are swirling, making a heck of a joyful bird chorus noise today.

Creative is a kaleidoscope in Laboscope of those joyful birds this morning (celebrating Midnight's achievement yesterday!), and I fartnarkled with saturation and all that technical (!) photo stuff...

Time for a cuppa...
And then an adventure calls...
Bye...

Wow! I really like the way this branch has turned out @dunelm
Very dramatic. Has great impact, and the contrast of those beautiful delicate blossoms.

Well done to Midnight. Splendid kaleidoscope - the flying standard of the Joyful Bird Chorus.

5.3 this morning. Back to work today. Very annoyingly my coffee machine demanded a descale before it would make a coffee.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who are confused with the meaning of life in all patterns. Ours is just to adapt and modify especially when told.

An annoying 4.8 this morning, I have to get my reading above 5.0 before I depart for pastures nearly green and scenic on my motorcycle, but more importantly I have to feel right, oh the joys of balancing insulin and food intake, without causing a sugar spike. Our @Cumberland some time ago gave some very good advice, thanks @Cumberland.
.
I shan’t mention the foot the ball…whoops I just did, so I shall carry on well done ladies.
Now I must depart and ingest jelly babies and another meter reading.
On my route I shall stop and consume a bacon ( vegan) and sausage sarnie while slurping koff
Stay safe all.
hand and footnote blood sugars now 6.3 and I feel ok to ride whew.
