Birthdays, birthdays, enjoy every moment.Hello everyone from the newly (rain) watered Breckland/Fenland border. No deluge but just enough to lay the dust for a morning. An early(ish) morning happy 4th birthday video call with a super excited granddaughter enjoying breakfast in her new (2 day) home before her big day out at Legoland. Later we are off to celebrate Wednesday's first birthday of our youngest grandchild, 2nd grandson. Nonagenarian MIL will be with us so thanks be to God and the NHS after both were fighting for their lives last September. Football needs to be recorded and scores kept secret. @gennepher thanks for sharing the wonderful kaleidoscope and tale of Little Miss. @Krystyna23040 hug for missing your family and the tender idea of Archie gently crossing the rainbow bridge. @dunelm thanks for the art and your day yesterday sounds splendid. @jjraak I also think this thread is very supportive so thanks to Harrison/AlienAspie for starting this.I hope he is well. In the spirit of sharing I had a whole 36 gms of Häagen-Dazs chocolate drizzle Gelato (8 gms carb I think) from a tub idly lying around in a freezer then later a shop bought stuffed mushroom containing ciabatta, another 6/7 gms carb. Have a great day, especially those Lionesses. Sweet Caroline on loop, later?
I hope you are okay now @lindisfelWent to audiology appointment at 00845 last Thursday.
Walked to the end of the atrium of Cumberland Infirmary in a rush to get back home and walked Into the rotating door. Fell backward and bumped my right cheek of bottom on the floor and got a massive heamatoma through heavy fall backwards and spent two nights in hospital acute unit getting sorted out.

What a wonderful day you had with your family @ianpspurs. It is especially wonderful as only a few months ago your grandson and MiL were fighting for their lives.Hello everyone from the newly (rain) watered Breckland/Fenland border. The planters look amazing now @alf_JosiahGood Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who cherish Sunday morning lie ins, as demonstrated on the various Sunday mornings political idiot box shows. Whoops that one was a bit below the belt, to coin a boxing saying.
Bloods this morning were 4.8, it’s a good job I’m not driving or riding today, but I could be wielding a pair of pruning shears on my apple trees.
Hopefully attached will be a couple of photographs of the refurbished planters that I wrote about a week or so ago, all I need to do now is find a recipient for them. Before and after.
Stay safe all.View attachment 55701View attachment 55702
Your lunch was definitely yummy @Jojo85Hello friends!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Sunday!
Hope you are feeling a lot better today Derek. These things happen in a flash. Good that there were no bones broken.Went to audiology appointment at 00845 last Thursday.

Wow! I really like the way this branch has turned out @dunelmGood morning everyone and at the moment the sun is shining brightly through a crack in a mainly overcast sky here in the dark and dangerous north. More rain yesterday but it did not stop the girl in the bubble getting to her favourite cafe for toast and butter in her one piece puddle suite. Still, it brightened up later so we got a bonus balmy afternoon sitting in the garden. For those who don’t know what happened at Wembley yesterday - don’t read the papers or turn on your telly apart from to watch it. What was interesting is that Frankie Valli was right - unlike their vastly overpaid male counterparts - big girls certainly don’t cry. Well, during the match. Art bit - padding out the tree branch from yesterday. Have a marvelous day if you can, hope you are not in too much pain. I must now partake of koffy - not as much caffeine in it as a bottle of Buckfast but hey, if you drink any of that stuff, you will certainly go higher than Icarus.

Well done to Midnight. Splendid kaleidoscope - the flying standard of the Joyful Bird Chorus.Fbg 6.6
Yesterday, it was obvious that Midnight has lost weight. Instead of being an overinflated football, he is now a large rugby ball. Because of his football shape he was never able to reach to clean his nether regions.
For the first time, yesterday, with a bit of contortionism (and some cramp I think), he actually managed to reach these nether regions. There was a bit of rolling over in his attempts to do so. He was sitting on the steps and rolled down them a few times. But he came back up to his favourite step (outside my open bedroom door), it has a coir mat on it, and he tried again and again and again. He had to pull out quite a bit of matted fur from that area, but he got on with it and yanked it out.
It took him all day, and by the end of the day, his nether regions were a delight to behold...they were clean.
He must feel so much more comfortable now!
Every different variety of small bird (that visits) is in my garden this morning. They are swirling, making a heck of a joyful bird chorus noise today.
Creative is a kaleidoscope in Laboscope of those joyful birds this morning (celebrating Midnight's achievement yesterday!), and I fartnarkled with saturation and all that technical (!) photo stuff...
Time for a cuppa...
And then an adventure calls...
Bye...
