Really good to hear that you are doing so well @jjraakHappy bank holiday...
A run of mid 7's for me...so nothing of note
A little more mobile of late, has seen walking increase nicely (crutch aided)
Now shoulder is probably back at near 80‰ the stairs using bannister rail is way more easy
Which allows me to take stairs up or down in a more normal fashion (the majority of the times )
Still struggle with that sideways movement of knee, so a straight set of stairs is almost doable, (given it's not too many.).but any turn in stairs and it's back to baby steps.
And with hand grip now back to 50% holding crutch is also adding to my confidence when walking, allowing pace to pick ...so a win/win, i think.
Been keeping up with forum
Fascinating stuff with the garden, @gennepher ..so much goes on at night.
And I am slightly in awe at how you approach the treatment to evict your uninvited guest @ianpspurs ...though I am mindful the public part is a very credible & sensible 'it is what is '...but the more private side must have your mind wandering at times....a hug, if acceptable for the worry that must cause.
Hope everyone else has the very best of a bank holiday monday....
Your painting is amazing @dunelmGood afternoon everyone from a swinging from dull to bright afternoon here in the dark and dangerous north. Wonderful day doing an explore around Lud’s Church with the grandchildren. Lots of blueberries and blackberries picked and eaten, the odd Elderberry and a few nibbles of Beech nuts on the trails. ‘Collections’ made of things of interest to take home and a round trip of nearly six miles with ice cream and orange squash to finish. We are now back home. Little Miss Pamplemouse and I have done the shopping and the ninky nonks are out with Gran. Sticky rice with chicken and sugar snap peas for dinner tonight. Grandchildren's choice, so probably a chicken salad for Mrs Miggins and myself. Art bit - another one completed so best get on with another one.

I don’t know @ianpspurs but perhaps I should make it more wattle and daub.Stunning art. Is it an insult or a compliment to say it looks like a photograph?
Thank you @gennepherThis is absolutely amazing....

I got caught up in the Trail Cams yesterday, instead of doing something I should have been doing. Forgot to eat all day! My stomach is doing the rumble song at the moment...
I was downloading all the stuff from the SD card on to the defunct iPhone. But I soon ran out of space. So a huge chunk of the day was trying to shift all my photos elsewhere, and anxiously looking at my data available for uploading to the cloud. I was half expecting to be throttled, but it all shifted very efficiently.
Then I found when I wanted to send one of the videos to a couple of friends, that the video file format was not supported. I didn't have a clue what to do. Tried all I knew. Then. I know, try and upload it to YouTube. But all that has changed since I last uploaded something. And I am clueless now. More time wasted. Eventually got it up, but cannot figure what the little boxes were asking me to do. Accidentally uploaded it to the Children's Channel first. Then got it on the general channel. So, You Tube didn't mind the format it was in. I am going to have to figure this one out. It is not the best video from the Trail Cam, but it was funny.
Midnight was watching this young fox (Midnight does not stay on the swing when the big dog fox is about). This fox doesn't realise Midnight is watching it. Then suddenly it looks up startled, and backs away when it realises Midnight is there. So, here is a collage of that.
If I get some interesting videos, I would like to upload them to You Tube, but I need to figure out video editing and all that first....I would like to figure out how to make some shorts for YouTube, which could be done from these short TrailCam videos.
Lots to do and figure out...
Cuppa tea needed now.
Here is the link to YouTube (only 2 views so far, so at least my two friends have looked at it!!!!)

It needs to be better, and I haven't done the title right, it came out as date..I don't know if I can re edit it?
Here is the collage for my Creative entry for today.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who have the technological nous to sus out modern technology, yep that means you @gennepher
Bloods this morning were were a surprising 5.0 me, me’s and myself are baffled.
Yesterday I hadn’t intended going for a motorcycle ride I was just concerned about the bounce back after correcting for low blood sugars and also me, me’s and myself have no desire to go to the pop festival, but if I were to get the complimentary tickets I would pass them to a more appreciative audience @jjraak and @dunelm .
Today here in Tilehurst Towers I shall be unsupervised and the world is there ready to make the most of.
Have a great day all and I have started a new enterprise, selling refillable buckets of water.
Hi @jjraak, we don’t have a conventional oven in our kitchen, just an induction hob and this Ninja oven sat on the worktop. There are only two of us normally. I can cook two things at once in it, for example some chicken and a tray of roast mixed veg or fish and some veg. We rarely use the Ninja foodie, only if there are lots to cater for. The multi cooker comes out for autumn/winter when we do soups, stews, slow cooking. Works for us and uses less electricity than conventional (big) ovens.
Thank you very much Alf for that lovely compliment!Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who have the technological nous to sus out modern technology, yep that means you @gennepher

Hi @jjraakNice @gennepher
Like how serene midnight is .lol.
As for video...I have software on phone that can trim a video ? Presume you are aware & have similar
Not meaning to point out the obvious, just wanting to add to the group knowledge
I find video then go to EDIT...
At EXPORT frames, is where I can trim ends of video.
This then gets saved as a new video and my original is still left intact
I also have had some bike ride footage...boring testing stuff..never used on a decent jaunt,
that I trimmed with .VLC.
Link above is a simple outline of how to use.
Apps free (windows + others)
And open source.
(Got to love free software)
But as for more technical editing, I guess you might need to pay a little more .
Have a great day
if I am engrossed in something, Ian, I totally forget about food.Own up, which clownshoe stole summer? Why would you do such a thing, you enemy of the people? Barbeque yesterday was a pleasant event but needed a summer weight top. I ate a small piece of belly pork but I was rather taken with courgette, pepper, halloumi and chorizo kebabs. There was plenty of salad and grandchildren so all was good. I swerved the barbequed bananas with a wide selection of fillings. Do eat today @gennepher even if working out how to edit and upload videos as you want takes some time. Thanks for the video you have shared and the creative. @dunelm I eagerly await the denouement to #latestartgate. Those dolls need nappies, baby wipes, cream, babygrows and so much more if they are related to the Suffolk versions. @Krystyna23040 such professionalism and care shown by watching the videos several times. Tip run with No 1 son done, Nos 5 and 7 grandchildren today then No 2 son and two girls arrive tomorrow. Far less childcare after September as two have found pre-schools/nursery and child minders near their new homes in Cambs. Have a great, safe, well hydrated day however many layers one now needs on this (Lesser) festival for John Bunyan. @alf_Josiah I have a complaint (lyrics)
