What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Really lovely digital painting @gennepher

Lovely painting @dunelm. My favourite colour is purple.

Good morning all from a decidedly damp and unexotic East. Half term week for schools and nurseries so we have childcare duties starting with a grandson and granddaughter today. A very grown up three year old and her one year old brother. @dunelm thanks for the wonderful art. Will you be known as symbol for a while? @gennepher thanks for the video and those wonderful autumnal colours in that creative. Thanks also for sharing enough of the how to make us aware of the effort, technical expertise and care involved. @Krystyna23040 I hope Archie is recovering and you are relaxing this half term. @alf_Josiah I hope all goes well with the hospital appointment. Today could see UK Plc , except Scotland and Northern Ireland, under the control - well loosely - of King Rich, King Rich, King Richie Richardson Sunak. Not my cup of tea but from the available menu the best, market friendly, choice until an election puts this warring rabble out of their and our misery. Have a great but safe day. I feel being a granddad is the look this season.

5.8 this morning. Archie is a lot better but still very tired. It is amazing how quickly the infection is healing with the antibiotics.

I took him for a really short walk up the road. He was really happy to say hello to some of his doggy and human friends. He is now snoring on his bed in the conservatory.

Enjoy this last week on the course @dunelm

Purple...the long white haired sage is going up to the effigy on the wall...and two moons in the sky...

Thank you Ian.

FBG 9.7 - that was after a drop during the night to 4.3.
Currently running at around the 11-12 mark.
Had 2 meals today but I'm still hungry. I don't want to have a snack because my willpower is inadequate and I would just keep taking more and more. Might have to plan for a third meal today.

Good morning everyone from the last chance saloon back pain course and what fun topics did we cover yesterday. Loneliness due to pain and illness (and what you might do if that’s you), Pseudoscience in healthcare (what fun) and of course in the pool with Legs Larry Smith and his gargantuan list of torture poses to music by The Bonzos. Not much time to do any art but do bear with me for a quick sketch. Have a marvelous day if you can, I shall make koffy in my travel cafetière and think about taking a big pile of Prednisolone.

5.9 this morning. Archie still improving. Took him for a walk - shorter and very gentle but he was definitely a lot stronger than yesterday.

We are off shortly to our little market town as I need some stuff from The Grape Tree and Boots. Then on to Tesco to get Yeo Valley milk and Greek yogurt.

Then a little trip to Great Dunham to take a Dyson hairdryer to hopefully be repaired.

Oh what an exciting life we lead here in central Norfolk.

Really enjoying this painting @gennepher

FBG 9.5 about 5 am. 11.9 during the night.

Highlight of my day today? Struggled out in my big thick fleecy hoodie to put rubbish in the bins and put the bins out to the roadside. That's it. That's me shattered for the rest of the day. Had to do it because Neil's down with something - he says it feels like flu although he had a flu jab a week or so ago. Bin lorry always arrives just after 9 am, so any minute now. Have to stir myself though, because my cleaner should be coming this morning and I have to get myself organised for her (make the bed, clear the floors and so on). Just want to lay back and feel sorry for all my aches and pains, but can't.

Good morning all from a damp but blue skied Brecks. Three consecutive days of 20c promised here after today. A good 10c too cold for me so shorts and no socks won't be back A young whippersnapper in No 10 having quite his best Diwali ever. Anyone remember Lord Liverpool? A couple of regulars may have been in romper suits. @dunelm do I detect a note of scepticism about some elements of that course? Urban spaceman in the pool, travel cafetiere and I assume they feed you. You don't eat tofu do you? Thanks for the sketch. @Krystyna23040 good news on Archie and we like The Grape Tree but there are none in West Suffolk. Central Norfolk surely went the way of Huntingdonshire and Rutland.? Have your best day but if that is not possible whistle a happy tune.
