What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Well good for him...lol.

He's so lucky having you looking after him.

What a lovely dog life they both have .

A good point I hadn't considered...mmh.

Only looking on mobile at moment so hard for me to see that clearly, but I looks to move like a centepide maybe ?
Yes, it does appear to move like a centipede on the normal speed clips. I found that scary, because I don't know anything that big that moves like that. I just have to hope it is only a nocturnal creature, or you might hear a scream from here...

I have had baby adders in my garden, the adder appeared to nest under my potting shed.

I am glad he is improving.
Brilliant!
They do know their own minds!

Morning all from a wet start to a day when we are promised 21c here in The Brecks. The NHS were troopers yesterday, contacting me, checking all my medication and delivering tablets by taxi. Two lots of 3 tablets 12 hrs apart morning and evening: Paxlovid and Ritonavir. Thanks be to God for the professionalism of those involved and the developers of the pills. @jjraak your gym sessions show just how far you have come in the last 2 months and are a tribute to your spirit. Fantastic. @gennepher thanks for the video and creative. I'm liking the autumnal colours series. Truly, that is a mysterious creature. @alf_Josiah enjoy the garden centre even if it may not fully enjoy or "get" you. @dunelm thanks for the latest reveal of your art and enjoy being out, out. @Krystyna23040 good choice of day to visit Gooderstone Water Gardens. Good news on Archie but he is having wonderful care as @jjraak says. Thanks for all the prayers, hugs and good wishes much appreciated Mind how you go.

Glad you are receiving brilliant NHS care.
Thanks for the compliments.
I would like to know what this creature is to put my mind at rest @ianpspurs

Thank you, @ianpspurs

Good to hear of the swift service by uncaped heroes.

Interesting read up on the drugs, very impressive response rate.

Best wishes it's the smoothest of passages through covid

Hope JKP is making good improvement too

Thanks for the kind words @gennepher and @jjraak. JKP has remained in bed since Tuesday evening which seems sensible to me. She tested this morning and is still positive. One of us needs to be up and about to feed and let the dogs out and I'm OK to do that and basic housework. Home grocery deliveries are now functional whereas during phase 1 they weren't. No 1 son lives <1/2 mile away which is a blessing. Obviously, I would rather never have had COVID but having it at this stage compared to 2020 is a blessing. Also so much sport for me to watch just now. T20 World Cup, Autumn Internationals and Women's RU World Cup, NFL, Foot the ball. That'll do pig, that'll do.

@ianphope you have mild symptoms, recover quickly and are able to get back to the neccessary treatment ASAP.
Edited to add.
Just seen your newer post, you seem to be coping admirably and presenting a cheerful face to the world. Rest and recover, you have many thinking of you.

That is such good news. Thank goodness for the NHS and the developers of the pills.
Archie really enjoyed his walk around Gooderstone Water Gardens. He is now snoring in the conservatory.

Thanks for your positive response and best wishes @jjraak. I've read that Covid can raise blood sugars and affect liver function too but my levels have been higher than they should be even before Covid struck. I'll bear in mind the screaming into a pillow advice if the frustration becomes too much! LOL Glad that things are improving for you.

Thank you. Yes, it is good news but I can report that there is such a thing as the infamous Paxlovid mouth. Some people report a rebound effect - symptoms clear up after the 5 day course but come back for a few days after about a week. We shall see,

Paxlovid mouth sounds rather horrible. Hope it goes away quickly.

Fbg 6.7

Hate these clock changes.
I am out of kilter now.
Hate changing clocks.
At least the one in the garage and the the one in the potting shed are correct time now...
The one in the wall on my bedroom which tells me outdoor temperature as well as indoors, and humidity, and a whole pile of other stuff, I have just spent an hour doing. It is a mystery to me twice a year. I thought I had changed the time easily, put it back on the wall, but I had altered every other setting...somehow...it's now Fahrenheit...I found settings I didn't know existed...

YouTube video is of the badger.

My new iPad mini which is 256GB (who the heck can use up 256GB? So I had thought) is full. Full of wildlife trail camera videos...

So, it was a massive marathon session of ruthless deletion (boo hoo there must be some good amazing ones I have deleted). And I uploaded a few in advance on to YouTube to create some space.

Creative is an autumn scene in Procreate.
My two favourite brushstrokes are still Snowgum and Leatherwood.
I must explore other brushstrokes...but not yet!

Time for a cuppa.

Have a good day.

Smashing and the progress is tangible - all the very best

Looking forward to seeing the finished version. There is only one of your paintings I didn't enjoy. It was the one where you looked down the really steep stairs. The finished version was so realistic that I felt dizzy just briefly looking at it.
Thank you @Krystyna23040 - couple more days

Fabulous - I am really enjoying this series of Autumnal scenes. Wonder if you can store all the video clips somewhere in the cloud. Google docs maybe or Dropbox?
