At 5pm I took him for a small walk. He had other ideas and stubbornly refused to do the small walk and I gave in and let him take me on a longer walk.
Yes, it does appear to move like a centipede on the normal speed clips. I found that scary, because I don't know anything that big that moves like that. I just have to hope it is only a nocturnal creature, or you might hear a scream from here...A good point I hadn't considered...mmh.

I've read that Covid can raise blood sugars and affect liver function too but my levels have been higher than they should be even before Covid struck. I'll bear in mind the screaming into a pillow advice if the frustration becomes too much! LOL Glad that things are improving for you.Ooh I bet that feels like a blow given the meds etc
Maybe it's just a case of choosing the RIGHT meds for YOU ?
We've all read of someone who struggled on X, until docs prescribe Z
and then everything gets sorted.
Hope that's the case for you, but do agree a face to face would let them answer many of the questions you must have.
I found if I couldn't do anything about a particular stressful thing until a later date, a good warrior like scream into a pillow relieved a LOT of inner tension.
Tho do be aware, neighbours or police may come knocking ..

Has been a busy little week or so.
2 sessions with my gym trainer.
Useful, showed us some floorwork last week, simple stretches, etc.
This week, more focused on the machine weights & how they operate.
Seems a few have dual purpose, and requires a pin or such simple change to swap it's roles
I feel so much more confident using them now.
No more tentatively examining them, then scratching my head as I walk away defeated.
Only down side is the class I take is 7pm.
A little extra time spent after take me to 9pm-ish, where hunger gets me when I get home, so eating too late at night.
I know the solution is to eat earlier instead, but I find it lays heavy on me before the exercise...ho hum
I will find a balance, I'm sure.
Two other visits with our Steph were very enjoyable.
She's nice and confident around the weights & treadmills etc, so nice to share what little I now know of the machines to expand her knowledge too.
And in return she ran me through a few of her routines in the weights room.
Enjoyed all visits, but have to admit to feeling every stretch & push the next day.
But all in a good way, and of course I realise I am starting back from a standing (laying ) start after near 10 months very restricted mobility .
So very grateful to even be at this point, regardless though
A long preamble to say I'm no testing, as scores are too high to be of much use or inspiring at the moment.
Otherwise, enjoying the new found freedom I have to walk, even if it is at a much reduced pace then pre-accident, unaided.
Limp is clearly visible, and one of the things i need to work on improving over the next month or so.
Strange how just walking can exhaust me.
That long run tiredness when you struggle to put one foot in front of the other weariness.
And after only a short time too, but sure stamina will improve, please god.
All in all, the most promising part of my whole year to date.
Not quite out of the woods, but feel I'm getting to the edge.
A place where the triple canopy is swiftly passing behind me and I can see sunlight once more streaming through the trees ahead.

At least the one in the garage and the the one in the potting shed are correct time now...
The one in the wall on my bedroom which tells me outdoor temperature as well as indoors, and humidity, and a whole pile of other stuff, I have just spent an hour doing. It is a mystery to me twice a year. I thought I had changed the time easily, put it back on the wall, but I had altered every other setting...somehow...it's now Fahrenheit...I found settings I didn't know existed...

My new iPad mini which is 256GB (who the heck can use up 256GB? So I had thought) is full. Full of wildlife trail camera videos...
So, it was a massive marathon session of ruthless deletion (boo hoothere must be some good amazing ones I have deleted). And I uploaded a few in advance on to YouTube to create some space.
Creative is an autumn scene in Procreate.
My two favourite brushstrokes are still Snowgum and Leatherwood.
I must explore other brushstrokes...but not yet!
