What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Maybe it's to evaluate their leadership qualities...lol

Have developed a blistering rash on the right side of my back, it's possible it's shingles due to stress these last few weeks I will have to see doctor in am. Can be a problem in old age.
The itching is driving me up the wall and the antihistamine cream is not soothing it much.
D.

When I had a similar rash on my left side, between the bottom of my ribs and the top of my hip, GP decided, without seeing it, that it would be shingles and just to take paracetemol to deal with the pain. The pain was worse than the itch. Still not sure if it was shingles but it went away by itself, after a while.

This sounds horrible. Am wondering if the specific gel treatment for chicken pox would help? Sorry I can't remember the name.
I hope you get some treatment to give relief soon.

What a palaver with YouTube and I hope that they contact you within the time stated - he says holding his breath. Smashing lighthouse, I love the crashing waves.

Got to love Kid Creole and the Coconuts - talking of which, here is an ancient Chinese chart of something best viewed by your GP unless you are a contortionist.

5.6 at 2.45 this morning. Up to 8.4 by 6 am. Took first basal dose and had a very early breakfast and hoping to get BG down into range asap and before it starts to rise too far. Daily levels are much improved now, but the early morning ones get out of control very easily so I am experimenting with ways of getting those levels down very early on.

7.7 this morning. Looks like an overcast and damp day today. Yesterday's walk was lovely at Sheringham Park yesterday. It was actually warmer and sunnier in North Norfolk than it was here in central Norfolk.

Mr K had homemade bread pudding instead of a NT sausage roll. He liked it so much he bought another slice to take home with us.

Good morning everyone and welcome to another day in paradise here in the dark and dangerous north. Lovely morning spent with daughter and family. Flowers all the rage of course as are cards made in pre-school by three year olds - such talent at such and early age. Electrics installed in garage conversation yesterday so nearly there. Watched the film Everything Everywhere All At Once last night - Mrs Miggins’ comment - “bit weird, did you write the script?” Still, it was Mother’s Day and she had been so overwhelmed. Art bit - colour added so onwards and upwards. Hope your day is kind to you, I now need some lofty.

Morning all from a damp Little America, how you 'doin? FBG 4.4 from Swipey. If I'm being picky that is +.2 from where I feel most comfortable on that device. Mother's day meal went well with four generations able to celebrate. @Annb good that daily levels are much improved. The optimistic is a wish that the early morning levels also flatten out. @Krystyna23040 good news on the lovely walk and Mr K finding other goodies. @lindisfel I hope your rash issue can be sorted today as you have been through enough lately. @dunelm thanks for sharing the art. Yesterday sounds good and I'll take Mrs Miggins' review as a guide to put that film on the avoid list - like I was going to watch it anyhow Today's plan is to visit my parent's grave as Monday looked the driest day and we have no childcare duties. Tomorrow would have been my mum's birthday. Have whatever kind of day works best for you and all you meet.

Dramatic colouring...
Very effective...

Savour that coffee...

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and three toad Sloths, did you manage to escape the much hyped St Paddies day selebrations? Here in Tilehurst Towers or as it now known Covid Central we did, also the foot the ball and rugby. Lucky or what?

Blood sugars this morning were 3.8, yep you read it here first, a kick in the teeth 3.8 . My steam driven sliderule was dug out, tea bag reading mug warmed up, but not before my hands stopped shaking enough to consume jelly babies, an insulin dosage was derived with the help of a following wind. Breakfast was / had to be a higher carb and sugar concoction. O the joys of diabetes, still things could be worse such as running out of safety koffy or being forced to watch the Terminator series of films.

I have also just done another LFT test and surprise surprise it is still +ve, Mrs J did one yesterday and hers was +ve also.

Now I must get on with my day, but first make safety koffy, stay safe all and stay well away from Covid Central.
Remember a smile costs nothing, but gives so much.

Fbg 6.7

Still problems uploading.
This one I uploaded a month ago, so I have made it public, so I am still posting every day.

Cat Midnight, Cat Merlin, and Foxy Loxy ...

A lot of activity.
Just after half way through, cat Midnight jumps on the swing, but Merlin is asleep there, so startled Merlin smacks Midnight!

Creative is a lighthouse digitally painted in Procreate....

Now I have to go and clear the mess round the swing outside. Stuff had been pulled off in the night. But I have no means of uploading the sd cards to view them to find out what happened until I can get more space on my iPad. And I cannot get more space on my iPad until I can upload those videos I had already edited up on to YouTube. And only then I can delete unwanted videos off my iPad...

Time for a cuppa and a nap...
