I hope the local surgery have some answers for you xEarly visit to see nurse at local surgery at 0915. Not good, I have a slow start nowadays.
After beautiful days, we now have two days of continuous April showers.
That's why the Lakes are so green.

You have a good day with the the grandchildren!Good morning everyone on a clouding over start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. Another stroll into town yesterday to check on the funicular. People working on it so still closed. It is run by volunteers and they hope to get it operating by the weekend. I think that it may just be cosmetics. Bus home but still managed 4 miles. The grandchildren from brum will be here mid day. What fun. Art bit, another one finished. Have the best day that you can, best make some koffy now.

Thank you @gennepher - I must have forgotten to take my medicationYou have a good day with the the grandchildren!
Although I like this this colouring, I prefer your greens...they make relaxing soothing paintings for me...
Thank you @ianpspurs and manly hugs for lack of a tasty bird. Still, better than a bunch of Mr Bernard Mathew’s turkey twirlers.Good morning on a dull start here in L.A where the enforcers are split between locking him up and POTUS for life. I'm not but if any week had a clear message that human wisdom isn't worth a hill of beans it is this one. @lindisfel I too hope the nurse can provide help. @dunelm impressive mileage - I split my 10-12k steps into smaller chunks - and thanks for the riot of colour. Enjoy those grandchildren. We have the same two again today then Monday's two here tomorrow. Hopefully the little guy will be pain free then. The whole East Anglian tribe are here on Monday (may need an indoor egg hunt) so we ordered a turkey (frozen capon or goose were just too ££££s) from the aspirational farm shop butcher yesterday because the children like turkey. Question is what number of pigs in blankets can be divided by four after both dads have savaged them first?. Attached is a bummer man - did any flesh and blood person ever really say that? Enjoy your day where humanly possible because some situations are just late night in Gethsemane for even the most perfect.
Well...at the risk being seen as wishy washy liberal...trump does make a good point.where the enforcers are split between locking him up and POTUS for life. I'm not but if any week had a clear message that human wisdom isn't worth a hill of beans it is this one
Thanks for the man hug, Bro. JKP won't be pleased to be thus insulted but we're both too old for seconds at dawn and I'm all loved up as da yoof say. Anyhow, as you eat pork chops maybe best to hold your peace about meat and poultry. imhoThank you @ianpspurs and manly hugs for lack of a tasty bird. Still, better than a bunch of Mr Bernard Mathew’s turkey twirlers.
That was a good move @Annb - whatever your Diabetes nurse thinks.6.4 at 4 am. Dropped to 6.1 after 1 cup of tea. Back to 6.5 now, after 2nd cup of tea.
I will make breakfast some time soon, I expect. Not sure what to have though. I raised my basal dose a little last night to try to keep BG below 7 and that seems to have worked. Diabetes nurse won't be pleased but heigh ho!
@Annb unless your DN has valid information pertinent to you and your health issues which she hasn't shared , surely the levels you are currently achieving are far better for you?6.4 at 4 am. Dropped to 6.1 after 1 cup of tea. Back to 6.5 now, after 2nd cup of tea.

Coffee to die for sounds really good - so will definitely meet up later."...Dear @Krystyna23040 .
So sorry to have missed you & Mr K the other day.
Monsieur M'tre insisted we needed to be out of town for a short while..
I know some say I pander to him a little too much, but he's been a good friend for a while now, so I do try to listen to his advice, he's normally got my best interests at heart...
(even if he's a tad annoying at times ..don't say I said that..lol )
Anyway, back in town if you're about.
Meeting Lauren in the Danno Café, about 5.8 pm...?
Laurens says the coffees to die for.
Then off to Lords Diner, for one of those delicious & tasty Hawaiian kahuna burgers,
( Yes I know Samuel j's advert wasn't received well by many, but I do like how convincingly he delivers his lines )
Anyway, just saying, if you're in the area & fancy meeting up ....
Anyway, must dash.
Sun's shining & I don't want to miss it..
Ciao."
Just so, Ian. She was making fussy noises about damaging my kidneys and liver, plus people "your age" needing to have 3 small meals daily to protect my heart. I know my liver has problems, but it's no worse now than it was 3 years ago, according to the radiologist. I did have a problem with my kidneys, but it improved and, as far as I know, hasn't deteriorated again. If it has, surely someone should have alerted me. My heart is "the strongest heart I have heard for a long time" or "the strongest heartbeat I have ever heard", so I'm not worried about that. It's a genetic thing.@Annb unless your DN has valid information pertinent to you and your health issues which she hasn't shared ,surely the levels you are currently achieving are far better for you?

I sat in the garden on the swing with Midnight last night just before it was getting dark. All the birds are still feeding, and I've not really had the time this year to study the birds like I did last year.
I knew all the different pairs of birds and last year (named a lot of them), so I thought I'd better sit and watch them to see who are residents in the garden this year and who are building nests or who are likely to build nests.
Have your best kind of day.
It is raining here. My friend cancelled our meeting, so I am playing catch-up today...
I am checking on the resident birds in my back garden last night while sitting on the swing, and they were:
*Mr& Mrs Heffalump (same wood pigeons as last year)
*Mrs Bluetit (same bluetit as last year)
*Mr Greattit (same Greattit as last year who came in with his two babies to feed)
*Mr Magpie (same one as last year, I think he has babies to feed again)
*The little brown Dunnock who appeared last summer, it is always on its lonesome
*There is a new Mr& Mrs Blackbird who are already building nest/s in the back garden. Whether it is the same pair or not, I am not sure, but there's a pair of blackbirds building a nest in the front garden
*The Sparrows have settled down to maybe several pairs. There were 3 pairs last night with an extra female causing mayhem. I need to watch them more...
*Awhile ago, there was a flock of Pied Wagtails, and two of them stayed in my garden. They were there last night
*I did not see the robin last night, nor the wren, but they are about
*And the ravens were in the cherry trees at the end of the garden
Mrs Bluetit was taking the peanuts I had put down for the fox and badger.
All this bird activity (apart from the ravens) was all happening within 1 to 2 metres of where I sit on the swing with Midnight.
I do have lots of different small birds coming in my garden, especially when there's a lot of bugs & greenfly to eat in
But a cuppa and a na
Thanks for sharing the lighthouse which I can't help seeing as a minaret once again.Fbg 6.9

I had been more involved with the stray cats, and the wildlife coming into my garden.

I do have lots of different small birds coming in my garden, especially when there's a lot of bugs & greenfly to eat in bushes & trees. They come in morning and evening for a feed. They sweep in, stay for about 5 or 10 minutes, and then suddenly they're gone.
All I needed last night, was the badger, KissyKissy, to turn up, and Foxy Loxy as well, to complete the wildlife menagerie, while I was sitting on the swing... But the moment I came in and locked the door, Midnight was still in the middle of the swing overseeing his garden, I could see something moving in the bushes and I think it was the fox he was waiting for me to go in.
Have your best kind of day.
