Yesterday loads of sun, so I put rocking chair in garden.
Lovely...
I can't stay there all day...
Can I?

Consequently I didn't download and edit any new sd cards...
So above video is one saved for such 'emergencies'...

Weather app says wall to wall sunshine today...

Have your best kind of day...I am going to...

Lovely and very atmospheric painting @gennepher

Having problems with my new pacemaker. The last one ran 9 years without a hiccough, this one has long periods with an irregular heartbeat which I can feel it is not kicking in all the time it should, will have get onto Newcastle later.

Marjorie's off to Carlisle this am, but I will be on Zoom later to other old men, but didn't tell her so she will still go to Tai Chi which she needs!
Sometimes. it's better not to throw little stones in the mill pond, one gets a clearer view of one's reflection.:)

It's a glorious day in Cumbria and I shall have to put my hearing aids in so the birds start singing.

Best wishes to all
Derek
Hope that Newcastle sorts out your pacemaker very quickly Derek.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen, RIP goonergirl.

Bloods yesterday were 5.6 and this morning were a slice of granddaughters home made birthday cake inspired 6.1 .
You know I don’t care, they could have been well into the teens, sometimes you have to live life and once in a birthday cake blue moon is fine in my opinion, hold on I’ve got another grandchild’s birthday on the 21st of this month, oh goody more homemade birthday cake.

Now sorry but I need to ingest medication and more importantly safety koffy, before much longer.
Mrs J bless her cotton sock is muttering about lawns to mow, I might need to hide in my sheds.
To those who are and will be battling the medics today, you have my best wishes.

Stay safe all.

Ps nice paintings.

Doesn't sound pleasant .

Hope it's an easy fix

And I hear you loud & clear about the little stones

Didn't get to bed at a reasonable time last night/this morning. Got caught up in following family history leads and kept telling myself to stop, and then found another lead. So, slept until 6 am. BG then was 7.5. Fell asleep again after taking pain killers and dragged myself to the surface between 8 am and 9. BG then was 8.7.

Just had breakfast and checked my BP as well. Not particularly good but I have not been taking my diuretic pills recently. I suppose I should. Not that BP is much worse than it usually is, but perhaps I should try to get it down a bit.

Drum roll - 5.9 this morning. We are off to Gooderstone Water Gardens today for the first time this year.

@ianpspurs the rest is going well. Lots of reading and relaxing and not too much admin. Have done lots of walking 14K steps a day.
Good news all round and here comes the sun over the Exotic East

Good morning everyone on yet another splendid start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. Interesting 5.4 on the stab of mirth as a small chish and fips were consumed for breakfast at noon yesterday. Now I have to wait a few weeks sans treats. Got some washing to hang on the line and then I expect it will be a wander into town to inspect the menu at our local cafe. We certainly won’t be walking down and then up those cliff steps. Best wait until inner chimp chucks the experience in the bin (probably by the end of the week) and then it will be, “oh, now here’s an idea…” and off we jolly well go - well for the first bit. Art bit - some more squiggles that will now need some colour added to them. Have a smashing day if you can and sit in as much sunshine as you can grab. Best have some koffy and then get that washing out. Or is it the other way round? No, that’s silly.

I hope coffee was first...

I hope you can get that sorted very quickly x

Morning all and it is sunny if chilly here. Two different grandchildren here today one who has come dressed as an angel to tell us the one minute version of the Easter story. @lindisfel sound advice from a wise tribal Elder. @dunelm thanks for sharing the art - is that washing hung out yet? @gennepher thanks for the creative which has the appearance of a minaret to me. I hope you can enjoy the sun with time in the rocking chair today. I'm off for some bloods to be taken shortly. How much fun can a guy have before lunch?
Thanks Ian.

Perhaps you could have some time for yourself this afternoon?...

When I read your post the words of the nursery rhyme 'One man went to mow,
went to mow a meadow' popped into my head. I have absolutely no idea why.

Had to edit the post because predictive text decided to rewrite it.

Predictive text gets very inventive, and sneaks its changes in when you press send...

Good morning everyone on a clouding over start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. Another stroll into town yesterday to check on the funicular. People working on it so still closed. It is run by volunteers and they hope to get it operating by the weekend. I think that it may just be cosmetics. Bus home but still managed 4 miles. The grandchildren from brum will be here mid day. What fun. Art bit, another one finished. Have the best day that you can, best make some koffy now.
