Thank you. I will be careful of going too many extra miles. Although I must admit - that is easier said than done.Top, top lady but please beware of going too many extra miles. You can't pour from an empty cup.
I really do love peanut butter - in mini eggs or on its own.You missing out Christmas 2023 due to scheduling error by diary secretary? Everything in that post was wonderful apart from the M word. Wash your mouth out young ladyPeanut butter is - allegedly and probably for one day only - microbiome (gee you tea seems too rude) friendly and boosts my cals in. Just finished a kg tub which is not something I ever dreamed of. Also eating more cheddar cheese which I'm sceptical about having any benefits except cals in compared to some other foods - just to be fair; and.
So sorry that you are having to put up with the local incompetence regarding your meds. Things seemed to work much better when we relied on educated folk who could write a prescription out and you took it to a chemist that knew the needs of their customers instead of relying on what look to be a just in time system that only operates on just in a while. Love this lighthouse. Is it in the bay of Ghouls?Fbg 6.9
On wildlife nighttime cameras
A very busy night - Fox, cats, badger
A very busy night.
A lot of fox bashing by Cat Midnight.
The fox objects.
But the fox perseveres.
Midnight leaves the swing so the fox takes his chances and eats some cat biscuits.
Finally the fox chances getting on the swing and he has a good helping of the cat biscuits.
Then he tries his luck again and again but he's nervous of the cats.
The badger comes along and startles the fox, and then the badger is pootling around as well.
The badger leaves, and then the fox comes back and is checking every which way that there is no cat on the swing and he jumps on the swing again. But he is very nervous.
The fox tries again and eats some more cat biscuits.
But then the fox hears something, he is nervous again and goes and hides in the bushes where you can see his pair of bright eyes.
The fox ventures out of the shadows and jumps on the swing yet again and again.
Finally cat Marmalade arrives thinking he's going to get some breakfast, but there are no cat biscuits left...
Creative is Lighthouse #34
Reflects my mood today.
I am now going to try yet again for those medicines.
This saga of getting the request accepted online taking over a week due to incompetence (instead of a day), and then the dispensing robot of the pharmacy breaking down and being unable to dispense them, means my medication is now about nearly 3 weeks overdue, and one medicine (my asthma preventative inhaler)is a month overdue. So, I am out of that asthma inhaler for a month now, plus out of some other medicines.
I am at the end of my level of patience endurance in this.
Just do not cross my path today, or I will have the patience of Midnight in this video ...

Mr K is always complaining that I make his kitchen messy. I am not sure when the kitchen became 'his kitchen' but I am not complaining because it gives me more time to concentrate on my pilates. That's a vey interesting treatment of a lighthouse. Looks pretty disastrous.
BG last night at 12.00 was 13.0! Not what I would have wanted but there it is. 10.9 this morning at 3.10. No breakfast yet - too busy clearing up after the marathon effort yesterday made me run out of steam, so I just left the mess to clear up today. I'm not a tidy cook. Tom always used to clear up after me because he couldn't stand the mess, but that's just the way I work. At least I got all my baking and finishing done as well as some dainty little sandwiches. Just because I'm organised, I imagine that very few will turn up after all. Never mind - leftovers will go down to Em's family.
Brilliant news that your scan shows all stable. It is quite stressful waiting for scan results but such a relief when it is good news.scan results show all stable.
Good news on the scan frontMorning all from a soggy L.A on the morning of my personal, guaranteed, food highlight of the week. Tailpiece of splendid salmon today so the best of the best as Katy Dereham said of the proms. Black bin day today out of sync due to Bank Holiday which fooled quite a few in this close, including Brits. Hugs for a trio here at least: @lindisfel and Marjorie plus @gennepher for medicine/prescription issues and @Annb for the higher bg and giving your time, energy and love to others via the baking and sandwich making. Local pharmacy here (Lloyds x2 - why?) hit and miss but postal version works well for me. @gennepher not sure about winner but if the art reflects your mood and helps you big winner. Certainly conveys frustration powerfully. Best wishes for success with hunting down meds today. Covid booster went smoothly yesterday and scan results show all stable. I hope those with unresolved issues find a satisfactory resolution today. Find your own chink (s) of light. @dunelm has TGIB and his art to share which seem like shining beacons to me. @Krystyna23040 had the lowering fbg, dog walk and daughter's visit (and grandchildren?) to look forward to. How about you?

I think so...Bay of Ghouls @dunelmSo sorry that you are having to put up with the local incompetence regarding your meds. A great sketch. Looking forward to the colour @dunelmGood morning everyone from a sunny yet chilly start here in the dark and dangerous north. It’s up and at em today as the girl in the bubble was over last night and is chomping at the bit to visit her (our) favourite cafe. A lazy day yesterday though. Who would have though that hanging about in an airport could be so tiring. We seem to be out of practice with this traveling lark so perhaps we should do more. Since our sister died at the begining of February, my brother and I are making more trips to see our parents. They do have a strong network of friends and they have someone in twice a week at present. Art bit, something I started a week or two ago. Will sort out some colour later today. Best finish my koffy and then it’s off into town.
