Missed the 1980s then Alfred? I have a suggestion for what to do with beer - apparently shrinks chalfonts brilliantly.Quiche and real men don’t eat quiche. Where on earth did you find that little of nugget of nonsense?
Ditch the pastry eat the filling, must be low ish carb then get stuck into the high carb beer hehehe.
Crown has been successfully cemented on. Yes, it is exactly the same as the one in the picturegood news on the dental appointment. Coronations are trending this week - will your crown be like this? I picture you as a serene, majestic presence. Best wishes for you a
That was such a shame that the breakfast was so disastrous @gennepher. I do hope that your blood sugars are back in normal range now.My blood sugars have now gone up to 15.9 from that earlier figure of 13.2 when I came home.
I have not had anything to eat since I came back from that disastrous breakfast at midday. Been drinking tea and water.
I have no idea what to do at this point, except I will never eat outside of my house again.
Unfortunately not. Just taken it now, 12.9That was such a shame that the breakfast was so disastrous @gennepher. I do hope that your blood sugars are back in normal range now.
The words ‘vegetarian’ and ‘sausage’ together? - no! Key ingredient seems to be either pea protein or soy protein, along with one or more oils (canola, coconut, sunflower), spices and other plant-based stuff. No idea what the carb loading might be.Unfortunately not. Just taken it now, 12.9
This is most unusual for it to stay high.
I don't know specifically what in the breakfast caused this. But I am blaming the vegetarian sausage...
Thanks for your concern @lindisfel our neighbours cat Oreo, does indeed hunt moles. She hunts anything that moves, but she seems to have accepted that our garden is Kiki's territory and now only occasionally wanders through. However Kiki has an unfortunate fixation on insects and birds. She will learn about bees and so far has failed to catch any birds. Her only interest in molehills is as a toileting place. Unacceptable in the greenhouse.Bit risky poisoning moles and keeping cats, anything that eats moles could be poisoned. Even other people's cats.
Mole catchers tend to use traps and you only take out your target species, a friend took out my mole problem, a trap is swift.
D.
It was supposed to have been a full meat breakfast. All I can assume is they had no meat sausages left and they thought they could just lob a couple of vegetarian sausages in. They were very cleverly disguised, all kinds of spices and things in them and herbs and they look like a normal sausage so I had no reason to assume they were not meat sausages (and the guy had covered them in, I presume tinned, tomatoes), and all I had was a couple of bites before I realised they were something wrong there. The words ‘vegetarian’ and ‘sausage’ together? - no! I love the old ruin....Good morning everyone on what might be an interesting day here in the dark and dangerous north. It’s a double dip bin day tomorrow and Mrs Miggins will be wanting to max out the volume on the garden bin (brothers and sisters - pump up the volume). I, of course shall assist by offering sage advise from a safe distance. The fun really begins tomorrow when some unsuspecting bin operative miscalculates mass and doesn’t apply sufficient force to effect much of a change in location. All instances of suspected shoulder dislocations to be reported to the Max Planck Institute. Art bit, outline of some old ruin (no, not Mrs Miggins). Have a wonderful Wednesday if you can. I shall finish my koffy and do a few exercises.

Thank you IanMorning all from what I'm calling the start of summer season in L.A (BCP calls today the invention of the cross. They did love a feast back in the day) Shorts and boat shoes (no socks, I do have some couth) on but uv top, jumper and goose down gilet for now. Off for bloods soon as prep for the phone consultation on Friday. We really are putting up the bunting today. I know, giddy social whirl here. @dunelm thanks for sharing the latest art. I take it Mrs Miggins doesn't peruse posts? @Krystyna23040 good news on the crown - apparently people watched a tv series thus named. How very quaint. @gennepher hug for the lasting effects of that meal. Have a great day - which of you guys have spooked the stock markets. Please desist - most disagreeable.
Neil has a similar problem with rapeseed oil and it is in more and more commercial products these days. Such a pity that it ruined, not only your breakfast, but your day as well. Hope you have got over it by now. In my opinion, rapeseed is one of those allergens that should be labelled, under the law. Popular opinion seems to be that it is not an allergen. In fact, anything can be an allergen for anybody - we are all different. It isn't good enough to sell something as "all meat" when it isn't.It was supposed to have been a full meat breakfast. I only had a fork and spoon with me, no knife, a knife would have shown me it wasn't a meat sausage
Canola (rapeseed oil) makes me ill with serious wind and painful heartburn.
If the guy had asked me I would have said no, but he just hid them under the tomatoes.
I would seriously like to crown him....you know what kind of crown...
It has messed my system up big time...
Yes they do tell you rapeseed is not an allergen, but they are splitting hairs there. It is a product I have an insensitivity to.Neil has a similar problem with rapeseed oil and it is in more and more commercial products these days. You obviously deserve a hug for the impact of that food but I gave a winner for the creative. I have probably seen honesty somewhere but I would never have bothered to ask what it was. Google suggests many consider it a weed which I think is how my family viewed it - member of the cabbage family apparently. Your creative makes it look attractive (even to me who really doesn't do flowers, Fuchias apart) so thanks. I hope bg and digestion soon settle. @Lainie71 good to see you here and a workout is never a bad thing, provided there are no injuries. She'll be right.Fbg 12.9

Fox & Cats in the snow
This is from earlier this year when we had another snowfall. I forgot to publish it!
Creative is a digital painting in Procreate of Honesty.
Not happy with it at all. Couldn't sleep last night.
Midnight gave up on me and went to sleep in the front room.
So I painted this Honesty on my iPad mini.
My friend cancelled our meeting today just as I was ready to set off, so I went back to bed, and am still here...
Her husband is ill, so just one of those things.
Time for a coffee...
Have your best day...

It needs to be cold pressed at least else it's a factory product.Yes they do tell you rapeseed is not an allergen, but they are splitting hairs there. It is a product I have an insensitivity to.
Thanks, but no, unfortunately I haven't got over it. Still in pain with wind and heartburn. My blood sugars are still in double figures.
I will be writing them the review they deserve in a bit...
